this is superior to the t6 gloves unless you louse the t6 Setbonus, but that bonus is so simple to get nowadays its worth droping t6 gloves for these if your a tailor.:=)

As a resto druid, I was thinking these might be superior to the trash gloves with 2 +22 healing gems because these provide more spirit. Of course 4 spirit might not be worth it, but eh.

Being a dedicated collector of mounts pets and other stuff, I also feel the urge of hunting down rare recipes like these. The most annoying part, of course, is risking losing the roll in case you enter or form a group for a Sunwell clear, so I decided to try and solo some of the Sunwell trash for these recipes on my tailor (Mage). It turns out, it is very easy:

First, clear the Protector patrolling the entrance area (it hits for quite a lot on clothies, use Mirror Image if you have to). I foccused on killing the pack of BElfs protecting the way to the other room, so here's what I did: Polymorph the Sunblade Slayer (he is by far the most dangerous mob in the group, using a physical skill that will slowly kill you, dealing damage based on your total health over 8 seconds), once he's sheeped, use Ring of Frost on the other 4-5 ads on the left, there should be some casters and 1 melee. Immediately burn down the melee (Sunblade Vindicator) while the other casters (healer included) are frozen. If you accomplish this, the hard part is done, focus on killing the healer first then proceeding to the dragonhawk pet and then the other casters, I recomend frost spec due to Ice Barrier making the fight a lot easier. Don't forget to keep the Slayer sheeped!

Once you killed all the ads except the Slayer, go invisible and the group will fully respawn due to the Slayer being left alive. Repeat for infinite success and good luck on the patterns :)

Dropped off trash mobs early this morning -- (15 August 2016) -- soloed 25 heroic with my mage, and got the pattern on the 9th reset.

dropped of trash in the middle of the raid today (3-11-2018)...sadly i was there for blacksmith patterns and NOT on my tailor...sigh.

Go to The Sunwell and clear all the trash up to the first boss. Run back, Reset the Instance and do it again. In only 5 entrance trash clears it dropped twice for me today.

Mount up. Pull all adds to the last pack of adds neat the first boss. Move back and group them up and kill them all.
Loot and go outside, reset and repeat. It is a quick way and then you get a lot of tries per hour.

Took about 12-15 reset runs to the first boss to get this pattern. Still no sign of the Modello: Mitene del Fuoco Solare.

So....does this still drop in 9.1.5? Have run about 40+ "trash pulls" in a row after many hours and still no pattern. Yet, I saw 6 of the BoP Blacksmithing pattern (Progetto: Guanti Feroci di Korio Duro), 1 of the BoP Leatherworking pattern, about 3 Engineering patterns, 3 Jewelcrafting patterns. Enough of "The Stoppable Force" to stop a tank - more Netherweave Cloth than I could easily carry (around 6000) etc etc. But didn't see this pattern once! And it's the last one I need in Sunwell. And no sign of it......
I think I have burnt the reddish/orange from Sunwell into my retina's,......
