Actually, it's not bad for a young druid. The armour translates to 154 with (non-dire) bear form and thick hide. Until you can get a good 2h it's quite useful.

So there i was, on my Horde pally, running through duskwood with an alt from another account to do stocks, and lo and behold, i see this ugly ogre, and kill him.

did i steal someones quest kill? lmao, i really am sorry i stole the bone!

I was on my way to Redrige mountians with a buddy of mine and i saw what i never would expect to see, a giant 35 level patchwerk with more health then it should have.
I got the bone he dropped and i save it, because its pretty cool :)

So there I was, an over sized Patchwerk sitting in Duskwood (The devs gave me way more HP then they should of) Just minding my own Business, when a Bloodelf Paladin felt the need to attack me, for no reason AT ALL on his way to the stockades.

And if that wasn't bad enough, The SOAB actually stole, yes STOLE my Femur. When a Shammy friend of mine Resed me, I could tell there was something missing. What the heck is he going to do with it anyway. He's proberly one of them scrubs that keeps the useless loot of the things he kills or something.

Needless to say, I wont be standing in Duskwood again =/

I just got this item, and it no longer gives any armor bonus as of 4.0.1 patch.

So its totally useless and is just a RP item trophy I suppose.

What a prize this I. Still have it an Boy im i Proud of it. Was 1 of my first Victorys against that Monter. They say there Bringing back Outside raid Boss's Next expansion Im hopping they Make This Memorial Horror into a Raid boss for Duskwoods by placing him in the spot whare the Dragon used to be, if they do I'd love to see this upgraded into a epic Off Hand. Or at lest Blizz please make a Epic off hand Based off this Item! that Make My Day.

I don't believe this item is still available after The Shattering. I killed him several times, as he respawns within seconds of being killed, and it did not drop once.

Just found out that this item is transmoggable and will sit on the hip when sheathed!

Doesn't seem to drop anymore... Or at least the drop chance seems to have changed? I've killed him ten times without getting it :'(

This off-hand is visible while sheathed on your hip unlike most off-hand items.
