If you completed the cooking quest prior to 3.1, go back to the NPC in Gadgetzan. He will give you the recipe. It required cooking 225 to do the quest. Don't know about the new quest though.

I'm not sure if it's just me, but this food doesn't give mana (the drink buff) when I use it. This is when I use it on my hunter. I still get the Well Fed buff but no mana.. hmmm. Anyone else?

Nope. Mine is bugged too. I'm not getting the mana regeneration, but I am getting the health and the well fed buff. :\

For some reason, today, this stopped buffing my attack power on my hunter. It says I have a well fed buff and it tells me I'm getting 24 attack power, but my attack power was 515 before and after eating it.

It worked fine before today.

Please note that while this recipe doesn't become gray until 300 skill, it's not necessarily a good idea to try to level up to 300 with it. As an example, I was at 298 skill and cooked 20 of these with no skill increase to show for it.

A better idea might be to get to 275 with this recipe and then go to Feralas to buy Recipe: Mightfish Steak, Recipe: Baked Salmon, or Recipe: Lobster Stew.

Breakfast of champions!

This is one of the best food/mana combination I know of for a hunter from level 35....still buying zesty clam meat at level 48! Adds a useful attack power and spell power buff for one hour as well.
