From the PoV of a fury warrior.
If you want to keep your meta socket active, and you need 2 of each sockets, this is basically the best gem you can put in a blue socket assuming you also pick up the socket bonus.

With the coming content patch the STR/STAM gems should see an increase in popularity due to the change in Shield Slam for warriors. While 15stam, along with whatever Wotlk sends us, will be the usual top pick in tanking gems these will easisily fit nicely into red sockets or looking to socket for more threat.
