Question: is this really a 3% droprate? For a quest starter item it seems somewhat low on droprate.

Is this a similar problem to those other quest starter items that have extremely low droprates because wowhead doesn't differenciate between having done and not having done the quest, reputation, etc?

In my experience, the drop rate is significantly higher than 3% if you've never done the quest. You pretty much always get it when doing Before Darkness Falls for Mekeda, and I've even gotten it before ever doing that quest for Mekeda, on the third kill of trying.

Quite funny, i was looking for this quest forever, only to notice that i had the cabal orders in my inventory the whole time!
So check your inventory if its a little messy like mine or you are likely to miss the drop like i did ;)

This is a ^&*!ty quest like all drop quests. I got the item in my bags for a while before i even realise it.... lol.
Well, just check ur bags and good luck.(unfortunately I can't tell u where it dropped and from what cause took me some time to realise I had them in my bags = retarded DK I am!).

If you're not as lucky as everyone above, don't despair - it took quite a while for mine to drop too. Finished Before Darkness Falls, and still had to farm some more after that.

Not a 100% drop rate. Not sure why people are commenting it is without confirming. You might have to kill a few. The above comments are wrong
