The blue equivalent is just 1 less spell damage. This one isn't worth it in my opinion, because the blue one is easier to get and only gives 1 less spell damage... Who cares? :P

If you are running actively karahzan and see this drops, if it costs DKPs I suggest you to pass. 60g and you got the blue one for 1 less spell damage!

These epic gems need a huge buff. +1 spell damage is NOT a significant increase from rare quality 2 epic quality. I would say the same thing about

Hopefully in through the item evaluations in the patches to come, Blizzard will see the error here.

Stats should read on the lines of +8 Spell Damage, +9 Stamina

These are some of the best gems in Shadowlands now thanks to the old kraken's being only 7 stat, and this has a total of 11 stats now. and 5 stat is way better than 16 substat.

have run multi-days and toons since 9.1.5 without any drops, prior to the patch was getting around 1 per run, but now have not received one drop in a few days. anyone have any luck or information if they have been removed?

In general, it is easier to daily visit TBM in heroic mode.
In update 9.1.5, In total, I got 9 Timeless Tanzanites out of 17 heroic runs.
Judging by the other people's comments , and my experience, farming normal mode doesn't make much sense.
It's easier to visit one heroic per day, than to farm unsuccessfully for hours and days in normal mode.
After all, there is a portal to the Caverns of Time. For the horde, the portal is in the basement, right below the room with the regular portals.
For those who do not know, this is in the corridor, after the room with the usual portals, immediately to the right and left down the stairs.

As of maintenance 12/14/21 gem is now +1 Intellect & +1 Stamina

*Edit* looks to be a ui glitch per latest article, instead of +1 intellect & +1 stamina, is actually +1 intellect & +3 stamina, still a hard hit nerf
