It's not 100% drop, so if you're unlucky you need to wait for him to respawn for a while :-(

Killed him 3 times, no drop, too long spawntime, I give up. Waste of time!

It should be noted, however obvious it may seem, that you need to be on the quest "The Final Code" (http://www.wowhead.com/?quest=10447 for Horde) in order for this item to drop.

This damn quest is glitched as of 5th June 2011...... I have started it over two times, and I destroyed the bomb as told TWICE now and it says complete on the quest, but on the map it dosnt, and I cant hand it in.. plz fix blizzzzzzzz

Note that, even if you have a flying mount, simply flying to the top of the tower might not cause the NPC to spawn (this was the case for me) --I needed to fly to the lower translocation orb and use it to teleport up the tower to get Sharth to appear.
