On PTR, For The Horde received 25 Vials, so it is safe to assume that when the patch goes live, you will get 25 vials for a kill.
Nice thing to note, is that they also received a scroll which you can use on someone to attune them to Serpentshrine Cavern.

These vials are *really* powerful. After the War of the Ancients, Illidan succeeded in filling seven vials with the remnants of the first Well of Eternity.

He used three to create a new well at Mount Hyjal, and Nordrassil the World Tree was born, consuming this new well.

One vial was used to create the Sunwell of Quel'Thalas.

Two were given to Illidan's lieutenants, Lady Vashj and Kael'Thas, he kept the last one.

So, in game terms, this object is far more than legendary :p

Hmmm - not a guaranteed drop for Le fiale dell'eternità, it would appear...?

Well Illidan drank it when the Well of Eternity got attacked by Mannoroth. It was used to kill a monster so Illidan could kill Mannoroth.
