DPS casters, these will stack with your Spell Damage Power elixir of choice (Frost, shadow, fire) AND a Greater/Normal Arcane Elixir. Decide which one you want to use depending on costs. In the end, you can have 3 dmg elixirs on you at one time. Just don't die!

This grants around 1.1% spell-crit chance at 70.

These are also useful for Holy-spec'd Paladin's looking to bump-up their spell-crit chance and healing at the same time.

As a mostly-kara geared paladin with about 1600 +heal and 11000 mana-pool, Adept's Elixir grants me an extra 3000 or so healing until I go OOM, whereas the Elixir of Healing Power only gets me an extra 2400 healing. Difference is significant, but not exactly game-breaking. Your mileage may vary.

Healing Power Elixir's (http://www.wowhead.com/?item=22825) tend to be cheaper, and are a bit more reliable, as you don't need to depend on crits to get the benifit.

As a frost mage, I usually go with Greater Arcane Elixir rather than this one.

Frost mages generally have over 50% chance to crit frozen targets (and if you play your cards right, they usually are), so the +crit chance of this elixir seems somewhat irrelevant.

The only downside is that the Greater Arcane Elixir requires 3 Dreamfoil while the Adept's Elixir only requires one.

I use this one with my Elixir of Fortification for tanking on my Prot Paladin for a boost in threat. Is there something better that enhances Holy spell damage yet still allows me to use my Fort Elixir?

If so... I'd love to know :)

Level 70 mages will find that Adepts Elixer only offers a 1.31 dps increase as apposed to the Greater Arcane Elixer (+35 spell dmg).

So it's a good idea to keep an eye out for those pots too for what may be a cheaper equivilant, although from what I've heard most servers find the mats for Greater Arcane Elixers are more expensive anyway.

But nonetheless! Keep an eye out!

With Mixology, this gives 37 Spellpower and 32 Crit Rating and lasts for 2 hours

As for now I see just two battle elixirs for a Fire Mage. One being Elisir dell'Adepto and the other Elisir della Potenza del Fuoco Maggiore. What conserns me is, which one benefits them more? I mean the second one gives higher constant DPS but a Fire mage procs free Pirosfera with crits. I have read somewhere that the first one will grant higher overall damage. What do you think?
