I have the Talisman of Ascendence. Will having this trinket also trigger it's cooldown, or can I have both active at the same time for some massive +damage and +healing?

February 13: Just got Ancient Draenei Arcane Relic (http://www.wowhead.com/?item=31615) and realized that I can use it with this one at the same time.
My belief is because the use triggers the same spell (http://www.wowhead.com/?spell=33662)

Do any of the +Dmg over x seconds affect DoT's AFTER they are cast? Or does the trinket(s) need to be activated before casting DoT's?

This trinket rocks, my warlock was destruction 1 month ago with 720 spell damage, now demonology. I used to critically strike 5.3K with Soul Fire on any boss in Black Morass.

This is a long last trinket and is good even at lvl 70.

as a frost mage i rarely cast anything with cast time to start fight but frost bolt
and i always forget to use it :p so i made this macro :

/use Vengeance of the Illidari
/cast Frostbolt(Rank 13)

and put it in #1 slot :)

Using this trinket everytime it's cooled down results in an approximate passive of +20 spell dmg.

Orcs can macro it along with their Blood Fury for a extra boost

This is assuming that the trinket is in the first trinket slot. If it is in the second slot just change it to /use 14.
Also Blood Fury is got a 2 min cooldown so for max effect use this once every 2 mins instead of 1:30.

Did this as a Level 62 Restoration Shaman + 63 Warrior, very easy to do providing that you have a good healer and a tank that can deal out a significant amount of damage. Halfway through he summons some infernals by the way.

I generally start with my biggest nuke (Pyroblast), but typically don't spam it except for certain circumstances. So I want a macro that will start with this trinket, but when the trinket is on cooldown will still cast Pyro. The following does ALMOST what I want... yes I CAN spam it, BUT I still get an audio error message that I would like to NOT hear... can I eliminate the audio?

Given the other two choices---as a holy and prot paladin---this trinket having a Crit bonus plus a SP buff on use, I am wondering if the Dodge trinket is a better prot trinket than this is a holy trinket. I use each spec about 50% of the time. I'm wondering if I should just take the Dodge trinket and skip this one, holding out for a better healing version.

Right now, Intellect and Spirit seem to be the top two stats for holy, and the posters here are all DPS and such. It kind of makes me wish for retooling of this quest reward for healers.
