Surely this isn't the best shard bag available? Its no better then the core felcloth bag, and I seem to recall blizzard saying they where going to put stats on these bags at some point?

Considering that one shadow cloth costs me over 100g on my server, it might just be easier to make the damn felcloth one than make this.

Well, if you take into consideration the 4 day cooldown tailors go through, 100g isnt asking too much. On top of that, you need 6 shadowcloth to make 1 bag. If you are consitent on keeping up with the cooldown period, that comes out to be 24 days for 6 shadowcloth, 12 days if you specialize in shadowcloth. Really a tough break for those who dont tailor. Look for there to be a hefty price tag on AH and good luck finding a tailor who actually can sew a core felcloth bag. The time spent farming the materials for the felcloth bag is far more outrageous...and boring. Nows the time to kiss your guild tailors butt if you ask me.

It might not be cheaper than Core Felcloth bag anymore since on many servers the guild banks are emptying out their core leather and such to make room for the new TBC mats.

Many guild banks are selling the mats for much cheaper than usual to make Core Felcloth bag.

Either way though for a 28slot soul bag the mats aren't too tough if you are shadoweave specialized. Although you'd probably want your frozen shadoweave set first.

no this bag only holds Soul Shard's

mats are a lot easier to get nowadays than the one from MC - but the Core Felcloth Bag would be so much cooler to have :P

Went to Andrion Darkspinner @ shattrah, but he no longer shows his wares - despite my being a tailor. Same for the other 2 spellweavers beside him. So I guess this pattern is longer available.

not entirely true. i just got this pattern, and several others, from the specialty tailors in Dalaran. these patterns are still available in 4.0.

however, after learning them, i checked the vendors in Shattrath, and they didn't offer anything for sale. so... it appears the patterns have been removed from those vendors, which seems odd since they require TBC mats.

and, as indicated on the tooltip, the ebon shadowbag is no longer a shard bag. it's a normal 20-slot bag.
