the only time you can get this recipe is during the lunar festival. you must do there quests and collect stones and the recipe will be a reward from them.

What level do you have to be to get this schematic (there is a level limit for purchasing it with coins), I sent my alt to get one and he was too low and my main had already gotten one and wasted it (sold it) so now I can't get one

Do you need a minimum of 275 engineering to pick this up? Say my DK is leveling engineering, but is still low. Can s/he purchase this?

These rocket schematics are purchased with the Coins of Ancestry you get from the Elder quests found in Moonglade during the Lunar Festival. The recipes are Bind on Pickup, so if you're not an engineer, they won't do you any good. You won't be able to mail them to an alt or sell them on AH.

The set of three can be purchased for 5 Coins of Ancestry from the Lunar Festival Vendor standing next to the Elune's Blessing quest http://www.wowhead.com/?quest=8868 giver Valadar Starsong http://www.wowhead.com/?npc=15864 in Moonglade. The coords for the quest giver and the Lunar Festival Vendor Fariel Starsong standing next to him are 53.2,35.3 in Moonglade.

My question about this item before I bother to acquire the mats is, is it a one use kind of a thing? It says it last thirty minutes, but does it disappear from your inventory when you use it?

Not worth it? These things rock at any guild party! Everyone loves fireworks, especially long after the lunar festival is over. I have been waiting for these recipes all year with my engineer! These plus the clusters are ten times better then those little wimpy fireworks engineers can usually make.

Something interesting: those that purchased the schematics last event noticed it had be changed to bop, meaning only the engineer could get the recipes. However, if you purchased it say the year before and had the item in your bank, it is STILL boe. Meaning if you can find someone that had it in their bank for this long, you can get it even if you missed the event.

Like that fluffykinz on chromaggus. has both launcher recipes and looking to sell wink wink nudge nudge ;)

Also worth noting that you do not need a certain level of eng to get the bop recipes next year, however they do still require different levels to learn and make ;)

Why did they make it bind when picked up? I understand that they dont want us to make a profit of it, but then they could have just made it bind to account, that way, I didn't have to go trough so much trouble to get it on my little engineer =p I had to travel the whole world (of warcraft) to get enough coins. but yay! I did it ^.^
