You get the pattern for this in Scholomance. Jandice drops a book on the ground once you kill her. All tailors in the group can learn the pattern if your tailoring is high enough.

This is the most economical choice for the raiding warlock, more slots then your typical 20 slot bag but it wont cost you 16 core leather a bunch of bloodvine and cores to make.

I'm fairly certain you have to be of 300 tailoring skill to learn the pattern, and I don't know if only one person per run can click the book to read it.

Deffently worthwile for warlocks if you plan on being in a pve guild Lothorian on Bleeding Hollow can make this if anyone is interested.

This is a pretty good gold-making item, the materials are cheap and the 12 felcloth can be farmed in about 1.5hrs. They typically sell for around 60g.

Felcloth bags! Only 4 slots short compared to the Ebon Shadowbag. The question is, how much more would you be paying for a Ebon Shadowbag than a Felcloth Bag?

Let's do some basic math. (Depending on server)

Felcloth Bag (FCB):
12 Felcloth: 4g per cloth x 12 cloth = 48g*.
6 Enchanted Leather: Mats per Leather: 1 rugged leather and 1 lesser eternal. Say you pay 18g per greater eternal and 1g per leather the total comes out to be 42g*.
2 Dark Runes: On Bloodfurnace (PvP server) they are about 40~60g each. So 80 to 120g*.
4 Ironweb Spider Silk: 5g per silk. Total 20g*.

So for a FCB (4 Slots short of an ESB) you will pay around 190-230g.

Ebon Shadowbag (ESB):
6 Shadowcloth: 40-60g per Shadowcloth = 240g to 360g*.
4 Netherweb Spider Silk: 7.5-10g* each.

For a ESB you pay around 270-400g.

In conclusion FCBs are 4 slots short of a ESB. FCBs will tend to cost 50% less than ESBs. If you have the money to spare buy a ESB, but if you're willing to shell out half as much for 4 slots less buy a FCB.

TIPS:
1. Dark runes can be farmed off Necromancers and Dark Summoners (14-16% drop rate) in the beginning of Scholomance. This could easily save you the 80-120g!
2. Shadowcloth tailors will spend half the amount of money on Shadowcloth seeing as how they can craft 2 Shadow Cloth for the price of one.

As of Patch 4.0.1, this has been converted to a normal 16-slot bag due to removal of Soul Shards as inventory objects.

I just got the same message. So the previous comment about it being changed to a regular 16 slot bag is moot.

Having previously been unable to learn this pattern due to the aforementioned "Insufficient Skill" error, I decided to go back and try one more time just in case they fixed it - and they have.

Not entirely sure when they fixed it, but as of 4.2 it is now once again able to be learned by Jandice Barov's journal.

I just killed Jandice, and I have received the 'insufficient skill' error as other people have said. My tailoring was exactly 280 at this time, but I did see that someone said it was not obtainable until 300. I will try it again when I get to 300 and re-post.

Alright, somewhere between 280 and 301 tailoring is where you can get it.
