100% Increased Speed mount that is only usable inside The Temple of Ahn'Qiraj. It's important for everyone in your AQ40 raid to get one of these bug mounts. Once you kill The Prophet Skeram and enter the actual Temple, you can no longer use your normal mount. AQ40 is huge and having one of these bug mounts will help negate some of the downtime.

Noticable feature:

Only has the same model as the Black Qiraji battle tank.
The red/yellow/green also have the same models as each other.

What are the differences between Black or Blue, with Red/yellow/green?

Ok, this is an awesome mount. I am so bummed we can't use it outside AQ. Why don't we form a petition to allow it outside AQ? I bet Blizz would let us. There's no reason to disallow it, ther than thematic and lore concerns. And those RPers can just choose not to use it. Really, I know that this would sorta take away the uniqueness of the black Quiraji tank, but I am a little fed up with the fact that only one person on an entire realm can get one that they can use. I am starting to get a little %^&*ed off with all those high lvl twinks who think they're "all that" because they could attend an event in a fictional world that others, who maybe didn't have quite so much free time to burn, couldn't.

Well on my feral druid i got bored today. So i decided, those bugs mounts look pretty cool. I asked a friend to a group and went in. I killed the first pat (those black things) and this dropped, i was pretty psyched. I tried to kill those giant guys as well but they hit too hard... But this was meant to show that any tanking class( even though im cat dps) class should be able to farm at least one of these babies.

Warlocks may want to avoid the anubisath sentinels, and stick to the obsidian eradicators since our pets are awful at generating any kind of remotely decent aoe threat. There are two near the entrance that can be farmed without pulling the sentinels.

The first one is in plain sight, but the second will require you to get a bit closer to the archway, but don't get too close or you'll pull the sentinels. Target it with "/target obsidian," then send your pet to pull it and bring it to you. This shouldn't end up pulling anything else.

Once you've killed them both, just exit, reset all instances, (you won't get the "temple of ahn'qiraj has been reset" message, but it will reset anyway) and repeat. Be aware of the 5 instances per hour limit.

While not as cool as what tanking classes or hunters can pull off, it'll still get the job done; I've managed to bag all but the red without any more than a few trips to AQ using this method.

Me and my friends on llane server ( Hido, Weemanjr, Ahrben, alliance side) were farming for like an hour and we each got the blue/yellow and green mounts like thrice over i got 1 of each in my bank and i deleted the rest, the RED mount was hard not good a drop rate off the first trash, only dropped 2 times in 2 hours with 4 ppl Hido got it first i got it second (Jdmage = me) i personally only wanted the red one for the 50 mount chiev and the FOS which is my 2nd after the bloodsail title ( took forever don't recomend ).

Soloed the Big Sentinels as 5k GS, holy pally. Used Holy Shock, JoW, Shield Bash, and Consecrate, never ran out mana. the 4 sentinels took about 25 minutes this way, but it was safe and my health and mana never dipped lol

If you are running AQ40 a lot and looting all the items and hate taking all the time to delete the mounts (you have to type delete out and everything), here is a macro that will delete all four types of mounts (one per click I believe):

/run for b=0,4 do for s=1,GetContainerNumSlots(b) do local i = GetContainerItemID(b,s) if i==21218 or i==21321 or i==21323 or i==21324 then PickupContainerItem(b,s) DeleteCursorItem() end end end

If you're hunting the red one, remove the "or i==21321 " (or just learn it immediately before hitting the macro :p).

For those looking to get the mounts:-

1.) Form a Raid with a friend or, as I did, .....
2.) Finish a Tol Barad BG, hearth to SW, portal to Uldum & fly to AQ (usually someone will be d/c or not left Raid.)
3.) Enter Temple of AQ.
4.) Kill Obsidian Eradicator and the Anubisath Sentinals by the entrance.
5.) Leave instance.
6.) Reset instance.
7.) Repeat x 5

Drops:-

- 6 Yellow Qiraji Resonating Crystal
- 2 Green Qiraji Resonating Crystal
- 2 Blue Qiraji Resonating Crystal
- 2 Greens
- Lesser Eternal Essense
- Illusion Dust
- Ivory Scarab
- 7 Black Stone

- 2 Bronze Scarab
- 9 Runic Stone
- 2 Silver Scarab
- 20 Black Stone

All in, this took about 20 minutes, 3 mounts for Filling Up The Barn achievement but no Red Qiraji Resonating Crystal on this run. Next time!

But there is allso a mount that is no longer obtain able and that is the Cristallo Echeggiante Qiraji Nero, this mount was obtained by doing a long and very difficult quest chain in Classic WoW that allso opend the gates of the Ahn'qiraj and Rovine di Ahn'qiraj
To come through this quest chain you had to do 40 player raids and be lucky to win the loot, for the final quest Bang a Gong! that you could do within 10h on each realm after the first one to complete the quests you received the Cristallo Echeggiante Qiraji Nero and the title ''Scarab Lord >Name<''.
This mount can be summoned out side Ahn'qiraj and if you would ever come to face any one with the title ''Scarab Lord >Name<'' or the Cristallo Echeggiante Qiraji Nero you are facing a powerfull individual.
This is the only legendary mount that players can get a hold on, the other mount is Fischietto di Peep and is a GM mount but is the same model as Ceneri di Al'ar
