Question on recrafting and using Illustrious Insight and Lesser Illustrious Insight. While I was able to "add" it to the gear in the finishing reagent section when using it for a personal crafting order from a friend, it never actually applied. It was not consumed, but the skill did not take into affect. My question is how are the finishing reagents supposed to work on recrafting orders? I could use them on my personal crafts, but I could not use the insight or the oil in crafting orders. I also did not see a way to add it when creating a crafting order.

After some trial and error I can explain how this item works in Crafting Orders:
When you receive the Personal Crafting Order you have to start the crafting order (accept the order but don't start the crafting process yet). Only then can you include the Consapevolezza Illustre. The person placing the crafting order can NOT include this item! Only the crafter can include this item, therefore the crafter "pays" for the Consapevolezza Illustre himself which helps him to achieve a higher crafting skill level but needs to be taken into account when setting the price of the crafting service. You can craft Consapevolezza Illustre with your crafting profession (assuming you own the recipe) for 50 Prova dell'Artigiano.

Only answer I cannot find is HOW do you learn it? The tooltip just says "Various Specializations, upon learning to use Illustrious Insight" I've looked through the Spec treat and I don't see it listed for Inscription. I assume, yeah I know, that since it's available to all TS then the only common way to learn it is through the Spec Tree.

A lot of people are asking what the difference between Consapevolezza Illustre and Consapevolezza Illustre Minore and it's simply the pattern quality (rare vs epic etc.). Crafting blue items use the Lesser Illustrious insight and the epic patterns use the Illustrious Insight.

Additionally, this can be used for your own crafts and not specifically work orders. It's a finishing reagent that you add in the "Crafting Details" window.

Question for any crafters that use this to guarantee quality for customers: How much do you charge for this?
Artisan's mettle is a bit scarce at the moment so I'm curious as to what the cost floor and ceiling for this item could/should be...

It's pretty @#$ed up that we can't send these on the Crafting Orders. I have many of these that I'll have no use for. Good lord Blizzard...

This may be obvious to many but I had trouble finding out about this recipe. As an Enchanter you learn this recipe via the specialization tree. An example of the least amount of knowledge points to achieve this is as follows: Enchantment Spec (10/30 points) ---> Primal (5/50 points) ---> One of either Burning/Earthen/Titanic/Frozen or Wafting (10/10 points).

Although you can now craft the Consapevolezza Illustre you won't be able to use it in every recipe, only the recipes relevant to the sub-spec you have maxed out. Therefore you will have to choose wisely as to which sub-spec you want to spend your points in since they're so hard to come by.

I used the Profession tree calculator to have a play around.

click, on the left side of the blacksmith screen, START ORDER
THEN those 2 boxes will let you click them to see what you can add.
