There is a wall with a hive on it, carefully check out the bottom part to locate the schematic.

In order to obtain any schematics for the Protoform Synthesis Forge you have to unlock it first
How to Unlock the protoform synthesis forge:
Complete first 3 chapters of the Campaign Segreti dei Primi
Research Comprensione del Sopraniano at the cypher console in Exile's Hollow
Complete the questline starting at Alla ricerca di Tahli. Once completed, the next day you can start Il componente perduto which leads to unlocking Sintesi di Protoforma (Cavalcatura)

I think it has a spawn timer.

It wasn't there when I looked initially. Spent a few min looking it up to be sure I had correct spot and then it just appeared in front of me.

For this wasp mount you need to first unlock protoform synthesis in the cypher research console. When you have done that, two new quests appear on the map, the one you need to complete is called Alla ricerca di Tahli

When you have completed this, you will now be able to collect the schematics for mounts in Zereth Mortis and the Sepulcher of the First Ones raid.

This mount requires:

450x Granulo di Genesi
1x Perlarabbia Eterna
1x Reticolo di Vespide
1x Schema: Volarabbia Forgiato

The Granulo di Genesi drop off most enemies in Zereth Mortis. It just requires you to keep killing stuff until you have enough.

The Perlarabbia Eterna drops from corrupted automa in the area. The ones to the north just as you enter the desert are mostly easy to kill. Alternatively you could kill Cliff Reclaimers Recuperatore delle Rupi and Lost Rubble Macerie Perdute instead.

The Reticolo di Vespide has a low chance to drop from any wasp in Zereth Mortis. You can also buy them on the auction house if they are on there.

The Schema: Volarabbia Forgiato spawns at the bottom of a vespoid hive and can be picked up when you have finished the Alla ricerca di Tahli questline here /way 53.33 25.68 Forged Spiteflyer
