Found in Protoscrigno Dimenticato in Untamed Verdure at /way #1970 66.9 69.4, atop the mountains, but only when Va' in rana is up, and if you have Sintesi di Protoforma (Cavalcatura) unlocked. You may briefly see Schema di Protoforma appear as you loot the treasure, and then disappear as soon as you obtain the schematic.

If you have already looted the treasure before unlocking Sintesi di Protoforma (Cavalcatura), after you unlock it, it will instead be in Schema di Protoforma at /way #1970 67.0 69.4. Unlike the treasure, this object is available even when the world quest is not up.

Schema: Saltatore Prototipo drop from Protoform Schematic located in Untamed Verdure.
To reach Protoform Schematic you can use Porta delle Ombre or Richiamo del Bufonide Saltellante from the World Quest Va' in rana.

To get Saltatore Prototipo you need to find Schema: Saltatore Prototipo in Zereth Mortis and bring it to the Synthesis Forge*, then collect reagents for the craft

Schema: Saltatore Prototipo is a protoform synthesis mount.
To collect this schematic you need to climb up to the top of Untamed Verdure mountains. Exact spot is at 67.01 69.36.
You can reach the schematic by 3 ways:

Wait Va' in rana daily quest and collect item while on the quest.
Use Venthyr's Porta delle Ombre to reach the schematic.
Unlock flying in ZM and collect this and much more schematics.

After bringing the schematic to Protoform Repository you will learn how to create Saltatore Prototipo mount.

It's only there if the world quest is up. If you jump up there in any way, and the world quest isn't up, the schematic will not be there.

Found inside a "Forgotten Proto-Vault" that spawned in the same spot. It contained ciphers, anima, and the schematic. The schematic was not up immediately and I had to wait about 5 minutes for it to pop. The Frog'it WQ was up.

Update: You must use the bounding bufonid during Frog'it WQ to jump up to location.

I previously mentioned you can only loot while Frog'it WQ is up... however, I flew over there today while Frog'it was active and there was no chest. I couldn't see/loot the chest until I used the frog for the WQ to jump up there.
