There's about a 2-5 minute cooldown timer on the trashpile, so don't be alarmed if it doesn't show.

This is a clear reference to the loa Jani and his trash piles from BFA. The saurid that appears even does his trademark hek hek hek laugh. Really nice to see him again!

The saurid wields the weapons you have equipped. Shields get placed on it's back!

Saurid Soul is obtained in Maldraxxus by finding the Mysterious Trashpile in the back of a cave to the west of the Seat of the Primus (it’s the same place as the world quest Forged in Secret) and emoting /bow at it. The coordinates are 44.62,65.54.

The Pila di Rifiuti Misteriosa is quite a bit smaller than Jani's trashpiles from BfA. It does show up even while the world quest Forgiato in segreto is in progress.

This is a Night Fae only thing. I had the "treasure" marked on my map by an addon, but not being familiar with Night Fae or their Soulshape forms I was trying to figure out how to get it, but I can't because I'm not in that covenant. You can see and select the Mysterious Trashpile, but there's nothing you can do with it as a non-Night Fae.

Even though my alt is Night Fae and did /bow, I didn't get the quest. I also tried clicking on the saurid. No luck. Broken/bugged, or something else?
