Found a Lost Soul that looked like a cat on top of the tree at 51.19, 31.00 in Ardenweald; using /soothe on it gave the Cat Soul object/quest.

Lost Soul(Cat) Can appear at the center of the top of the Great Trees around Ardenweald.
Trees you can reach are located at Dreamsong Fenn, Glitterfall Basin, Tirna Vaal, Hibernal Hollow, and the one north of Gormhive.

/soothe the cat and you'll receive the soul. It cant be targeted with commands, so don't rely on Macros, check with your eyes.

Once someone gets the cat it despawns and immediately respawns in one of the other trees.

To get this, you must /soothe a Lost Soul on top of one of the Great Trees on Ardenweald.

Possible Spawn Points for the Lost Soul:

/way 51.83, 69.23
/way 60.0, 55.13
/way 65.08, 36.46
/way 51.21, 31.04
/way 37.59, 36.25
/way 69.85, 27.32

Only One is Up at a Time, and Upon Claiming, It Spawns at a New Tree.

Found atop the super tree in Tirna Vaal just now on US-Durotan. Good luck to all! Crittershape is a super cute new ability for Night Fae :D love the addition. Now I just need to figure out where to find the Bunny Soul...

To find the npc, you can also add the NPC ID 181694 in the NPCScan addon and you will be notified if you are close.

Once you have acquired this form you will not be able to see any more cat-formed lost soul. Not sure about this yet, just my experience.
I got mine in the afternoon and I took my friends up to the trees to help her look for the cat. Guess what, we flew past three trees and there was nothing there. On the fourth tree, I didnt see anything either and was about to leave when my friend asked, was that the cat? I flew back and saw nothing while she clicked on the cat and got the quest!
Hope this helps for those who want to help their friends!

Addon called Soulshapes. Gives you a Soulshapes tab in your Collections. Shows all of them, gives info on how & where to get the ones you haven't found yet :)

This soulshape can /sit /sleep and has a jump animation, as well as having different walking, running, and swimming animations in all different directions. This soulshape cannot /dance /roar or /mountspecial like some others (considering there's no mount that uses this model).

Well I got my Kitty soul shape a month ago or so. I just tried to change it to any other one and I'm stuck in kitty form! Anyone ever experience this?
