Schema: Cacciatore del Deserto is a protoform synthesis mount.
To unlock protoform crafting research Comprensione del Sopraniano and complete Il canto finale + Un nuovo architetto questlines.

Schematic can be found in Plain of Actualization sub zone.
There is a tall pillar close to the platform with daily quest mob. The schematic is on the top. You need to have flight in ZM unlocked or Porta delle Ombre to reach it.
After bringing the schematic to Protoform Repository you will learn how to create Cacciatore del Deserto mount.

The Final Song questline start from the quest Alla ricerca di Tahli.
After complete The Final Song questline wait for the daily reset and complete the following quests: Il componente perduto, Un nuovo architetto, Riassimilazione dello Schema: Mortelesta

Now you have Sintesi di Protoforma (Cavalcatura).

To get Cacciatore del Deserto you need to find Schema: Cacciatore del Deserto in Zereth Mortis and bring it to the Synthesis Forge*, then collect reagents for the craft

In order to obtain any schematics for the Protoform Synthesis Forge you have to unlock it first
How to Unlock the protoform synthesis forge:
Complete first 3 chapters of the Campaign Segreti dei Primi
Research Comprensione del Sopraniano at the cypher console in Exile's Hollow
Complete the questline starting at Alla ricerca di Tahli. Once completed, the next day you can start Il componente perduto which leads to unlocking Sintesi di Protoforma (Cavalcatura)

If you don't see this recipe, try realm hopping. I couldn't see it, but upon realm hopping, it was there for me. Not sure if phasing issue or respawn issue.

I just crafted this beauty last night. I know everybody went for Serenade as their first craft but this mount is just absolutely gorgeous. Especially paired with the Kyrian angel white transmog. The tail flutters beautifully as you fly. Just breathtaking!

Maybe this isn't the most impressive mount graphic-wise. But gosh, the flying graphics are one of the smoothest and most elegant I've seen in the game. They launch into the air with their wings closed, as if their jump is good enough to get them going. Ground movement is nice too, longer strides, not too choppy-hoppy as other birds. And another thing, designers did capture the head swing they do while standing, a charateristic from predators like hawks, eagles. etc. Very nice detail...
