If you get one of these very early, don't do what I did and use it before you get the ilvl 200 version of Sfera d'Animum Condensato from one of the intro quests and add it to your Forge. Else you could just discover the ilvl 145 version of that same conduit and your Soultwining Crescent will be completely wasted.

Has anyone had one of these not do anything when used? The item disappeared when I clicked on it but it didn't upgrade any of my conduits or give me a new undiscovered conduit. I used two of these the day before and they both upgraded a conduit to 213.

No point in saving them if you are farming korthia daily. I have used 9 of them and I'm already with all my conduits 226. Now when I try to use it I get an error that "all my conduits are fully upgraded'. Hopefully they will make it sellable so you can vendor the excess

Today I did 99% of Korthia rares (except 2, but most probably they don't spawn today) and 100% of treasures and purple mobs. And this is the first day I didn't loot the Soultwining Crescent, although I still have 7 conduits at 213 ilvl. Hope this is bad luck, and not a new bug.

These will now upgrade conduits based on your spec.

One thing to note about this is it will not necessarilly choose your lowest rated conduit specific to your current spec if there are lower rated conduits that can be used by multiple specs including your current spec.

So if you have an ilevel 207 conduit that can be used by all your specs and a 213 conduit that is specific to your spec, the 207 will still be the one that is upgraded.

1. These will still drop if you have un-upgraded conduits for your non-current spec. My havoc DH got one today despite being fully upgraded (but two vengeance conduits still need upgrades)

2. Using it when you have no upgrade possibilities left results in an error message saying you've fully upgraded your conduits for your current specialization, and the item is NOT used up.

I think 9.1.5 change this item to discover a non learned conduit at item level 200 or 213. Should have no reason to have to start at the lowest item level conduit in 9.1. AND make them BoA so they would be great for alts.

These should be account bound. I have several I can't use, and it seems like they will still drop.

Given the wording "Discover an upgrade to a random Conduit from among your lowest item level Conduits" I figured this would, well, Discover an UPGRADE to a conduit I already had, but instead it gave me a random Conduit at ilvl 145. In my case I received Totemic Surge on my shaman.

So don't use the item if you don't already have all Conduits for that character unlocked. What a massive waste.

As of 9.1.5 these seem to be still capped to one a day, albeit with an increased drop rate.

Edit: I stand corrected, the RNGesus got me again. I did end up getting multiple the next day while doing the dailies.

Drop rate is substantially higher in 9.1.5. I had 5 drop for my hunter between elites, chests, and mawshrooms today.

It gave me a random Conduit at ilvl 145 four times in a row! You would assume it gives you "an upgrade to a random Conduit from among your lowest item level Conduits for your current specialization up to item level 226," but it does not do that. I'm going to ask a GM for my items back and hold them until Blizz fixes this or I get a conduit of higher ilvl. Great design as always.

It could be a coincidence, but it seems like when you have one in your bag, the drop chance is very much reduced. When I have none, it always seems to drop from the first rare I kill or chest I loot. Then I kill several rares and loot many chests and no more drop. If I go use the item then come right back, I again get one really quickly. Kind of annoying. Again, could be a coincidence but seems to be a pattern.

In 9.1.5, if you have multiple of these and still have conduits at 213 or less, but nothing happens when used, respec to the conduits you want to upgrade, then use the item.

The txt says "for your current specialization", however it also considers the Conduits that do not have any specification icon .

These stop dropping once all class and current covenant conduits are at 226 or higher. If you're interested in selling them for 25g/piece but want all class conduits upgraded, you can upgrade all conduits to 226+ (252 if time permits) in your main Covenant, and then swap to a Covenant you don't intend to play in end game content and haven't upgraded the Covenant conduit for. Ideally a Covenant that works well in world content, but that depends on the class.

If you do, make sure to not use these, Scheggia Vincolata alla Morte (up to 213 max) or the 226 version (drops from Shaping Fate) of the not upgraded Covenant conduit. Keep the 226 version and two Scheggia Vincolata alla Morte banked, so that once 9.2 hits and Korthia is no longer relevant, you can upgrade this conduit to 252 as well.

Example: as a Venthyr main rogue I got all conduits to 252 including Cicatrici Sferzanti; I noticed when I swapped to other covenants Crescents started dropping again. As I don't intend to play Night Fae in the end game I kept Folgore Settica on 213 and play that in Korthia. It's not much, but it works.

Few questions;

1. How many of these can you get per day? I got 3 or 4 today, still have a lot of conduits to upgrade, wondering if its worth to farm korthia more.
2. Can you get these from other sources? M+, torghast vaults etc?

Surprised no one mentioned this yet -

If you don't already have all conduits at ilvl 200 or higher, buy and use Incenso d'Infinito first, then use Mezzaluna Avvolgianime.

That way you don't waste Soultwining Crescent discovering or upgrading low level conduits.
