Hi all

This WB is located 68 44. Stay inside line made by 4 Trash ( outside You will get a lot of dmg ), care on his Dannazione is like a beam. From Time to time 3 Trash from corner will come to Him You need to take them down to move them back to corner ( stay inside lines ). Best is just kill all trash next to boss + stay inside lines xD.

Just got this off the new world boss. I have no idea what exactly this thing is. It's not a piece of gear nor does it seem like a gem, perhaps it is, seems useless compared to other things I could've gotten especially on my alt mage.

Not a single guide anywhere, not any one person, has bothered to explain how to actually socket this thing into your equipment. People are completely oblivious to giving the one bit of information you actually come here to find.

Go to Bonesmith Heirmir in Korthia to purchase Omnious Shard of Rev. This shard (and others like it) can be inserted in socket slots on Domination Gear, which is new to patch 9.1.

This shard is only dropped by the world boss in The Maw. Sylvanas does not drop it even after the change where she drops shards you don't have. I have every shard except for Shard of Rev and it did not drop after killing Sylvanas (first time killing her during the week).

Update to reflect below comments: This was patched and can now drop from Sylvanas.

I think its short-sighted that this shard remains an RNG chance from a world boss after the Sylvanas Domination shard hotfix.

The spirit of the Sylvanas hotfix was to provide some sort of "bad luck protection" to the shard system.

Those players who are targeting the blood set bonus and only lack the Shard of Rev remain victims of bad RNG with a single drop chance per week (as opposed to the 10 drop chances for every other shard inside the Sanctum of Domination raid).

Mindblowing that everyone's beginning to have their unholy set bonuses by now, but us blood users are just waiting for a single chance a week to finish getting our shards. What dip***t in wow's team thought this was a good idea?

This shard now drops off Sylvanas. Got it tonight on Normal. No more luck of the draw on World Boss.

Got two of those stuck in my inventory just taking space. It's so stupid you can't even destroy them.

Sigh, I wish Id knew about it only dropping from the world boss before. I skipped so many times on him because of the annoying trash mobs and by now where my alts got some gear, they are missing this shard for the 3 socket blood domination buff. I prefer the blood bonus over all because its the most convenient for solo play and questing.

I dunno, when it was introduced, but I found out last week, that you can teleport to him now. Read my comment on Essenza del Calcavarchi Intrappolata#comments for further details.
