The quest for this was up in EU today so I brought my leatherworker there. I did not get this recipe rewarded. It might be a bit random so it'll only be rewarded sometimes. There was a similar recipe from a daily quest back in Nazjatar.

Picked up 2 different dailies today in Korthia which would grant this recipe. These dailies were Local Reagents and Oozing with Character, both given by Plague Deviser Marileth.

I noticed this quest was up on my main so I hopped on my alt to try and do the quest to get the pattern. However, Plague Deviser Marileth wasn't there to give me the quest. What quests do I have to do to make Plague Deviser Marileth show up?

It seems it's completely random, but today (10/01/21) I got this pattern on my Leatherworker as a quest reward from the Korthia daily quest Melme di carattere

Today I got this pattern offered as a reward from both Reagenti locali and Melme di carattere. Combined with the other comments here, it sounds like this pattern has a chance to be a reward from any quest Marileth gives in Korthia, but only on certain days, not others.
