This will probably be one of those mounts that drop from all difficulties of the raid. Prepare your army of alts for the LFR farm.

So today is the day LFR has released for the wing with The Nine in it, as well as Mythic which top guilds are already punching through.

And there is STILL no confirmed drops of this mount from any difficulty.

I think it is safe to say it is bugged (or there's some requirement we aren't meeting to get a drop).

Let's hope for a fix soon!

EDIT: There has been one screenshot of a drop from LFR that only just popped up as I posted this!

Got one today in LFR, dropped immediately on bosses death and placed in my inventory without having to loot the boss first.

Had mine drop in normal yesterday (07/13/2021) Had another one drop on heroic for a guild member today (07/14/2021). This was our 2nd kill on both difficulties. Either the drop rate is rather high or we are just plain lucky. Either way it is a beautiful mount. Happy hunting!

Had the mount drop for my warlock on Wednesday on normal, the next day I got the mount drop again on my paladin on heroic. I already learned the mount on my warlock so now I just happen to have a extra mount that can't be traded on my pally. Not sure if getting it again is a bug or you are able to get the mount drop multiple times.

Strange enough, I got this twice! Yes, you heard well, I got it twice... One from HC and the other one from raid finder... I thought it was unique and you could only drop it once.

Just in case it was a question, It CAN drop twice for the same player and CAN'T be traded sadly. Dropped for me on LFR first, then on mythic the second time...

This mount is silent and/or low volume. Is it just me? I summon, press jump, fall from big heights, etc it doesn't make a sound. Was this by design?

This mount drops just after you kill the boss, its not lootable from the corpse. I got mine while still laying dead while waiting for ress.

Got mine after 150 lfr runs.

Finally dropped for me on my 158th kill, obtained in LFR, was running it on 16 characters a week, queues were approaching 2 hours this week, so relieved I cannot tell you, Good luck to all still chasing this beautiful mount

I do 20+ nine mount run 2/2/6 (normal) every weeks most are done on Wednesday (start around 10h00) and the last are done on Saturday or Sunday.

I just finished this insane grind. 162 runs, only on LFR, never did another difficulty of this raid. I wish everyone else luck who is still going for it, those 2+ hour queues are brutal, especially for the group to just fall apart on one of the bosses, which happened numerous times for me.

It dropped for me the second time I killed the boss on Normal difficulty. The first time we killed the boss, a few in the raid said they got the mount, and they sounded serious, so we all thought it had a high drop chance with several people in the raid getting it. But they were joking and didn't actually get it. The following week, they started to joke about getting the mount again, but they all went silent when they saw that I actually did get the mount, and then my guildies congratulated me. We didn't see another drop for the rest of the season. It seems to be another mount with a 0.1% drop chance.

Here's the most optimal way how to obtain this mount in Dragonflight. I just got it today, on my 100th attempt - screenshot HERE. Majority of the attempts were done now in DF. I have around 7 alts with +350 ilvl, and I was farming on these toons. I also did some mythic runs for transmog (mainly plate & mail armor). If you want to farm it efficiently though, skip full tmog runs - most pugs usually get stuck at Roh'kalo, meaning full runs take 45 min which is a waste of time if you're just in for the mount. You could get 4-5 attempts meanwhile if you are quick.

- Mount is forced personal loot, which means you don't compete with other players for it. The more people you get, faster you clear it, but on the other hand, getting more than 10 people for the runs usually takes alot of time. I found the sweet spot to be 5-7 players. After that, I just delist the grp and clear. You should aim for people with atleast 350-360 ilvl to not waste so much time.

- When I was making groups, I usually made a HC > NM Tarragrue - Eye - Nine group. People that farm this mount, will join the groups and will be willing to clear both difficulties, meaning you won't waste time with finding new players, and even if someone leaves after HC, normal is way easier meaning you won't need to find new people.

- Skip the anima guys for Tarragrue. Yes it has abit more health and takes abit longer to kill, but not as much as you would waste if you would kill all 4 goliaths.

With the above mentioned steps, runs usually take 10, 15 min tops, which is quite effective for a 1 expansion old raid.

You can make a lockout for this on normal/ heroic mode by killing the first two bosses and using that char to re extend the raid. The drop rate is pretty abysmal though. Have been doing it for a while with friends and so far not one person has gotten.

Hello , dropped today after 85 attempts https://imgur.com/zS3Bmng , lfr mode , solo (began from attempt 69th and above this expansion ) with all tanking specs (bears performed the best) tested + bm hunter as dps ,ilvl 420sh to 440 its ok. Good luck to all.
