This item was nerfed after a bunch of people from the PvP venture QQ'd because it stacked with other shrinking effect making the Warsong Gulch flag nearly invisible to the general player. Gnomes where the size of a large flee.

umm... like the Gnomish alarm-o-bot, does this dissapear on use? its not as expensive to build as the bot, but it will still cost something.

Something I didn't even realize until after I made this: This is not a trinket. You don't have to put this on, then wait 30 seconds, before you can use it. This means it's OK to leave in your bags and pop whenever you feel like it...I'm taking this to Naxx tonight!

I'm a tank, and I would feel too guilty to equip a silly item like this...but now that I see it's not a trinket, sure why not! =)

I have done extensive testing, comparing this with others ways to shrink yourself, and have determined that there is a second, slightly noticeable effect. (An adjustment in the camera.) Not only does it shrink you, but it does, as advertised, actually enlarge the world. NPCs, and the world as a whole, are bigger with this particular effect than they are when shrunk to approximately the same size via other effects.

A gnomish device that does what it says. The world will end next patch. And it will be a very enlarged world.

Just clarifying, since the tooltip doesn't seem to mention healing (which would be a helpful cast effect rather than an attack): can you heal while this buff is active, or does it remove the buff?

This item is NOT soulbound. Even after you use it it does not become soulbound. Also it has unlimited uses and cannot be equipped.

As of 4.0.1, a warlock's Hellfire will not remove the effect.

I didn't know this stacked with other items that make you tiny (ex. noggenfogger) and used it with 2 mins left of noggenfogger.. omg I couldn't stop laughing xD

It looks like this "may" go goblin only in the xpac and gnomes will get the world shrinker. Can't say I agree with those restrictions, especially since players already have this item and are using it just fine on live.

Edit: Now changed to require Gnomish once again. I sure hope they don't make the world shrinker Gob as I like all my gnome toys but would have to switch just for that item :)

Edit 2: Now a toy. Not surprising but the WS is still not flagged as such. Clearly yet more work needs to be done. I just hope that work doesn't involve nerfing anything.

WARNING: This item is bugged atm, you can learn it with a char that dosen't have Engineering and it will not show up in your toybox AND more important you can learn it as often as you want it will just disappear from your inventory (I learnd 2). When you then login to a char that has Engineering it will show up in your Toybox on all your alts but the other items you have learnd will be gone!

This toy actually require Engineering (200) to use, because it also require Gnomish Engineering which is not available until lvl 20 and 200 Engineering.

hi so im new to wowhead but i cant seem to find where the recipe for the world enlarger is i have gnomish engineering and classic engineerig unlocked and it says i meet requirements but i cant find where the world enlarger is taught anyone can help would be much abliged!
