FIRST Gurgl!

This quest is available from Breanni in the Magical Menagerie by the flight path in Dalaran (Legion). Easy chain (22ish mins).

The questline takes place in both Dalaran (Legion) & the Eye of Azshara zone (not the dungeon).

The quests in the chain are as follows:

1. Pets Detective (given by Breanni)
2. Pet Up
3. The Coast is Clear
4. Paw Patrol
5. Gurgl and the Bandit (Pet Battle)

The Pet Battle Team you face in the Gurgl and the Bandit quest is rather easy and can be defeated with an Emerald Proto-Whelp (2,2,2) & any other pets you want to bring along to help.

This questline rewards you with one of the coolest looking pets in the game, Gurgl (the dolphin skin/blue Murloc).

For the pet battle in this quest chain i used:

Stormborne Whelpling (1, 2, 2)
Nexus Whelpling (1, 2, 2)
Macabre Marionette (2,1, 1)

Start with the Stormborne Whelpling and used 3x Tail Sweep,
Then use pass and your Nexus Whelpling will come into battle.
Arcane Storm followed up with Mana Surge will destroy the enemy.
Then swap to Macabre Marionette and Bone Bite untill win.

Do yourself a favour. Ditch the turtle vehicle in the "The Coast is Clear" part of the quest chain by engaging a mob. Not only is the quest bugged by not allowing you to regain the turtle vehicle again anyway, it's also hilariously difficult to do due to the terrain and the level 60 elites in the area. Thankfully you can just keep the quest and pickup all the pet supplies without using the turtle vehicle at all. So do that and save yourself the frustration.

Edit: Blizz has put the kibosh on this. The pet sacks are no longer intractable outside of the turtle vehicle. /sigh

Use your Specchio Magico per Mascotte and /dance.

You can only collect 1 (one) of these pets, so don't bother doing this quest chain a second time, even if Breanni offers it to a different character.
