Just received this mount from completing the Necrolord Assault on The Maw. This was my first time completing the Necrolord assault, I had done the previous Kyrian assault and am up to date on all the current available Korthia questlines etc although not much of that is available at this point.

As mentioned in the Mount Journal it did indeed drop from the Cassa da Guerra dell'Armata Imperitura, the chest is a guaranteed reward from completing the Necrolord Assaults and seems to be a 100% drop based on others mentioning they've gotten it so far on the PTR but who knows if that's intended or not.

Got this today in a Cassa da Guerra dell'Armata Imperitura, which I received after finishing the Necrolord Assault in The Maw (this was my first time doing the Necrolord Assault).

Also, definitely not a guaranteed drop as my friend who was questing with me did not get the mount in their war chest.

That was the first Necrolord Assault that was out on live and I didn't even know bout that mount and got it from my first chest lul

I can confirm:
1. This mount can be very grindy to obtain.
2. It drops for everyone regardless of covenant.

I got it on my... I have no exact count, but I have probably done about 15 assaults in total across my chars. The very character that got this mount is Night Fae.

I got this mount the first time I ever did the Amateur Night world quest. He was a drop off of the Lord of the Pit

got mine a few days back .. just checking the % drop rate wasn't as rare as I thought. but still epic.

Dropped for me today 24/06/2022 after 5 attempts, and finished off Mano di Nilganihmaht in the same invasion :D

I never ever comment on posts but I felt the need to come here today and state that I have reached 40 attempts on this mount, assisted the NLs more than any champion ever should within the Maw, yet still won't stop till it drops. If this continues, I will write a letter to blizz.

I remember watching an Asmongold video where he said this took him 30 tries to obtain and made the face of a man who never wanted to step foot in the Maw again....yep, just got it on my 30th attempt as well. Sadly, I still have to go back into the Maw too.
