About Scheggia di Stigia & Polvere di Stigia:

Bacchetta da Rabdomante di Stigia allows you to track Stygia Nexus on the minimap, and when used nearby a Nexus, it will drain it, granting you a small amount of Stygia, as well as some Scheggia di Stigia and Polvere di Stigia.

About the Rune Puzzle:

Once you use your Bacchetta da Rabdomante di Stigia, you will be phased out and become a ghost, and a chest with 6 glowing runes will appear at the center of the platform. You can click on 2 of the glowing runes at a time to swap their positions around. To solve this puzzle, you need to pay attention to your surroundings - There are 6 spikes on the platform you're on, and each spike will have a glowing rune on top of them. You need to order the runes near the chest to match the order of the spikes on the platform. Be careful, as you DO have limited attempts, and if you fail enough times, you will not be able to attempt the puzzle again for TWO HOURS.
Once you match the runes with the pillars, the chest will open, giving you the Stele Sgretolata. Once you obtain the Stele Sgretolata, Ve'nari will have another item for sale - The Codice Runico Parziale, for 1500 Stigia.

About Anima Vagante:

Roaming around Gorgoa, the River of Souls, you can find a Anima Vagante. This wolf soul will follow the flow of the river and despawn on the northern end, respawning at the southern end shortly after and beginning his path over again. To obtain his item, simply find, approach the wolf and interact with it. The wolf will enter your Soulkeeper and grant you a Anima di Lupo Volenterosa.

About Segugio d'Ombra Ferino:

After begin Segugio d'Ombra Ferino you are required to summon your Feral Shadehound, mount on it and bind it to you! Once you use the provided item, you will mount on the Feral Shadehound (it will start running wildly across The Maw, so use it in a safe place), and a vehicle bar will appear with four runes - The same four runes shown in the completed Crumbling Stele. Click on the runes on the order provided by the Crumbling Stele and you will bind the mount to you, completing the quest and granting you the Segugio d'Ombra Vincolato.

It took me approximately 7.5 hours to farm the Scheggia di Stigia and Polvere di Stigia (with a few breaks, probably close to 6 hours without breaks) from the Beastwarrens. I used my druid because druids can stealth. I thought running around in travel form would be more helpful, but it wasn't. In fact, I barely used travel form at all because most of the nodes are surrounded by mobs.

I went to area around 53, 78. There are multiple stygia nexuses above the cages (and hopping from cage to cage can keep you out of combat). Additionally, the nearby cave was a source of 5 nodes.

Instead of running all over looking for nodes (due to travel time) it was more efficient to camp. This may change as fewer people are farming these but I'm not sure. I was hoping I could collect these as I just did quests, etc, in the maw but they're not located in places you'd generally go.

When I was finished, my eye of the jailer was at 2.848 from 0.

How to get the Segugio d'Ombra Vincolato mount

Pre-requisites: Be Appreciated by Ve'nari, have 3,500 Stigia, have learned Catena Levitante Animata. Helpful: Parole di protezione is active because of Mantello Spirituale dell'Assassino

Buy Bacchetta da Rabdomante di Stigia for 1,500 Stigia
Go to Domination Keep in Perdition Hold (approx at 23.0, 68.4), and grapple up 1 level. Go to the left, and go up the stairs to a second hook at about 24.0, 75.5.
Use your extra action button and solve the Rune Puzzle to get Stele Sgretolata by making the runes above the chest match the runes on the spikes. Spike #1 was to your left grappling up and goes clockwise. You have limited attempts before being locked out for two hours. If this happens, use the time to farm
Return to Ve'nari and buy Codice Runico Parziale for 2,000 Stigia.

Pet Anima Vagante in the River of souls to get Anima di Lupo Volenterosa. Go against the current and you'll eventually find him.
Kill the rare Forgianime Rhovus to get Attrezzi del Forgianime
Spend the next 2 - 8 hours of your life farming 200 Polvere di Stigia and 200 Scheggia di Stigia. The Bacchetta da Rabdomante di Stigia will allow you to see Stygia Nexus on the minimap. On the ground these look like glowing green orbs. Stand next to one and click on the Bacchetta da Rabdomante di Stigia. Only one person can tap a nexus at a time. I recommend not going over eye 2 for this.
Celebrate the end of grinding
Go to Incudine di Animacciaio (located at the very top of Domination Keep at 20.2,67.0-You will need to grapple hook up the side) to create 20 Lingotto di Stigia
Create Guscio Corazzato by combining 20 Lingotto di Stigia with Attrezzi del Forgianime
Optional: Take the Chaotic Rift to get down (it takes you to Zovaal's Cauldron)
Go to the Binding alter at 45.2,48.2 to combine Guscio Corazzato with Anima di Lupo Volenterosa to get Segugio d'Ombra Ferino
Read Stele Sgretolata to get the rune order
Use Segugio d'Ombra Ferino to get start Segugio d'Ombra Ferino which starts the binding ritual
Run Segugio d'Ombra Ferino into a cage or pillar to not have to bother with mob agro while you punch in the correct rune order.
This completes Segugio d'Ombra Ferino which gives Segugio d'Ombra Vincolato
Learn the mount, brag to guildies/friends

A quick note on farming. When Parole di protezione is active, as long as you don't turn it in, you can cloak easily in Perdition Hold, which makes Perdition Hold ideal for farming Polvere di Stigia and Scheggia di Stigia. It also makes it easier to get Pagina del Codice Runico: Anime as well as get to Go to Incudine di Animacciaio.

Another thing I noticed is that when you collect resources from one stygia nexus, another one seems to spawn almost instantly. I think there are two active nexus in each particular sub-zone of the maw. This is why camping a spot doesn't seem to work as the nexus are random. HOWEVER, I think some more more common spawn locations than others. If you are having trouble finding one, I'd check the more rare spots, which for Perdition Hold is at the very very top of Dominion Keep as well as the very southern part where your Mantello Spirituale dell'Assassino will fall off.

When it comes to riding the Shadehound to click on the runes; I used the road from the entrance of Ve'nari's Refuge and went to the right of the Waystone to Oribos. I wandered down there first and killed the Outrider just to be sure it was clear.

Once you clicked on the quest item, the Shadehound isn't out-of-control quick, it seemed like normal mount speed. I took my time with the runes and I was almost to where Borr-Geth spawns by the time I was done.

I don't know if it's the same order for the runes for everyone, but the gold one in the Stele Sgretolata was gold on the vehicle panel, so you really only need to accurately identify the other three. I sketched them in the proper order on a bit of paper before mounting so I could recognise them easily. Those with a photographic memory will be fine ;)
