The treasure doesnt require specific actions to obtain Parasole Nero Stiloso.
Use the elevator at 42.04 47.03 turn right and move along the castle wall. There ate the stairs down.
Continue you way and follow another stairs down and you run into Stylish Parasol treasure at the edge of wall.

Will activate fairly late on falls, you can still receive quite a bit of damage jumping off something not quite high enough.

Parasole Nero Stiloso is inside of the Parasole Stiloso treasure
It is located on the wall north of Charred Ramparts flight point.
From the flight point enter the castle and go left up the stairs where you'll find the treasure.
Part of the Tesori di Revendreth achievement.

It seems like you need to be max level for it to be visible. I was unable to see it on my level 52 character, but for my max level character it was there.

Be advised: This shares a cooldown with Kit dell'Aliante dei Goblin, and will put it on cooldown when it activates the slowfall buff.

For some reason if you mount up while the umbrella is active it will disappear for you, but other people can see it while you are on your mount. Hope this is fixed in the future! It does show up on flights though.

One of my favorite toys from Shadowlands so far that I like to bring out just to have my character hold.

This is really unreliable. I died a bunch of times due to the parasol not opening.
I would suggest using Hearty Dragon Plume as it always works and it's controllable.

Can be used while falling and while mounted, but be aware it has a cast time and a delay to deploy.

Funny fact if you use it as a Shadow Priest. Using it takes you out of Shadowform and while flying getting back into Shadowform removes the slowfall from the toy.

After finding this, I hung out in that spot so I could eat my lunch. I was very surprised not a single person who got the parasol decided to jump off the ledge to test it out. After reading these comments, I'm glad I ate lunch before accidentally plummeting to my death.

Unfortunately if you dual wield the animation played while falling is different when you wield a 2h (played the correct animation when I removed my off-hand). Will post a screenshot of it and how disappointing it is. :C

Before you jump off a cliff and activate this, remember that it has a cast time and doesn't activate slow fall immediately.

Don't count on it to save you if you're falling into the void -- it seems to require actual ground beneath you for it to deploy.

The slow fall does not last indefinitely - I was happily gliding across the Endmire when it suddenly failed and I dropped like a stone to my death. I am not sure how long it lasted, but I'd say less than 30 seconds.

Glad I tested this on my DH. Seems not to slow falling at all. Tried multiple times. Had to hit glide each time to avoid going splat. Fell a short distance and didn't glide and the fall damage removed the toy effect. Appears to be either broken or strictly cosmetic. I'm fine with it being just cosmetic but the tooltip shouldn't say it's a safe fall if it isn't.

Edit: Seems it only works after falling a set (possibly lethal?) distance. Tried it between levels in Sinfall and just before I had to hit glide it activated.

I keep dying on my pandarian (which can fall twice as far) without this activating half the time. Useless bugged, poorly tested item.. Good for only walking around holding an umbrella if you so desire. It's not that it doesn't work, but it's completely random.

You manually activate it in the air by pressing space. It lasts for ~15 seconds, though it can be less.

Nice little RP combo: use this, then Champion's Salute, for an instant sun your character can shade themselves from.
Especially nice since the salute doesn't show up in your buffs, so other people don't even know that you're not using some kind of special variant of the umbrella; AND, this doesn't disable the functionality of slow fall in any way, either.

Upon learning this toy, I immediately ran off the castle wall and fell to my death.

Then, I came back here to read that it doesn't work if you're already falling. XD

In order to use the Stylish Black Parasol you have to click the toy prior to jumping, once you've done that you can jump off. It takes a second or two of falling before the Stylish Black Parasol will actually open fully and slow you down. You receive a 15 second buff that allows you to slow fall so it's not really intended to travel very far, just down.

Also once you click on the toy you will "wear" the Stylish Black Parasol on you shoulder cosmetically. Jumping from any significant height will attempt to deploy it triggering the 5 min cool down.

* I have read this has a chance to fail causing you to fall to your death, however I have yet to experience this on numerous uses. Maybe I'm just getting lucky. *shrug*

Doesn't open if you are in a druid form, and is cancelled if you change to a form mid-fall.

There is no mechanical benefit to using this over Weathered Purple Parasol if anyone else was wondering.

The only bonus to having both is that when using one, its 5 minute cooldown triggers, but the other only gets a 3 minute cooldown. So having both lets you have them available faster, if you want to alternate between them.

Note: This works in ICC, where it's handy when dropping through the hole following the blood boss. Equip it before jumping and verify the buff is showing.

You can glide with this, so it's worth saving as a favorite in your toys.

The toy has a cast time but can be cast while moving. This only activates a 15m buff but this does not give you slow fall!
With the buff active, you need to press space bar to activate the umbrella, which gives you slow fall for 15 seconds.
Activating the slow fall only works if you press space bar and after dropping a few meters (I would say 5 in-game meters).
After activating the slow fall, the 15m buff is consumed. Luckily there is only a 5 min cooldown.

There don't appear to be any zone restrictions on it, unlike other similar useful items

Does not work in Korthia. If you use this and then jump off a cliff thinking you'll land safely you'll be sorely disappointed.

I'm not sure about other dash abilities, but for prot warrior, this thing is really fun with the Carica del Drago PvP talent.

When you're gliding with it, it maintains your speed, so open the Parasole Nero Stiloso and Carica del Drago off a cliff to get from one place to another pretty quickly.

I found this item recently and I am thinking it may be fixed. With the spell active, the umbrella has auto opened every time without any issues. It does drop you after a bit but will re-open once again if your high enough. I've not died once while using this. I found it in my mid 50's while questing Shadowlands.

This seems to work without pressing space bar. The way it works, makes it relatively unreliable. The caption reads "safely float the NEXT time you fall". Easily use it when you are about to jump. However if you suddenly find yourself mid-air falling, this takes 5-6 seconds to work.
And it works by giving you a 15 minutes buff; and the buff, gives you a 14 seconds slow fall, every 3 seconds!

This item gives you a buff when used. The buff is not lost upon mounting, but it is lost when entering combat (even if you don't take damage). Strangely, the buff itself doesn't cause the slowfall. The slowfall is actually caused by a second buff, Caduta col Parasole, that appears about 1-2 seconds after you start falling with the primary buff active. It's quite possible to fall to your death within this window. If you survive that window, you'll slowfall for 15 seconds. When the secondary buff is lost, if you're still falling, it'll reapply after another 1-2 second of freefall. The buff is not lost upon taking fall damage, but it is lost upon death, so Mary Poppins wannabes be warned!

This item requires a minimum of level 60 in order to spawn for you. Using Chromie Time will have no effect.
So if you are playing on a F2P account, you will sadly not be able to obtain this Toy !
To test I used a level 60 character on my main account and a level 20 on my seconday account.
Both were standing next to each other but only the level 60 character could see it and pick it up.
I also tested with other characters with various levels all below 60 but none could see it.
Once you have added it to your Toy Box however, any character level 48 and above can use it !
