The Altar of Domination is the area located at 20/69, the specific area this item functions is approximately 20/66. It's inside and down a staircase and the item is usable in the central ring - surrounded by 4 elite casters. Currently got a small raid going so finding out what it does

The item is not consumed on use, and it does not summon the mob inside the small cave, rather it summons a portal that takes you to the roof where the mob is

The 1 day cooldown means you can only open the portal once a day but you can keep opening it with the same item without having to farm more

Also, if you try to get to the zone and get a 200% damage recibed debuff that means you haven't progressed enough with Venari to unlock perdition hold. That makes things much harder but not impossible even at aprox. 175 iLvl across the whole group (we did it as 5, 1 tank and 1 healer)

If you've collected all three items and can't combine them, it's because you are in a raid group. Leave group and you are good.

Too bad, was being sneaky not agroing any mobs with my priest and used the item near the caster.

Portal appear and I walk to it. Casters decided to suddenly agro me and the portal disappeared, killed them not without a fight but the portal was still not there.
ITEM WENT ON COOLDOWN.

I guess that you sill can use some kind of shenanigans to get up the tower but it sucked.

"inside and down a staircase" - /way 20 66 there is where you use the item. That will open a portal. Click and go inside to kill the rare Exos, Alfiere del Dominio

By the way, only one person in the party needs the item. All party members can use that portal.

To summon Exos, Alfiere del Dominio you need combinate 3 items to create Richiamo del Dominio.
I got all items on my first try.

Incisione del Dominio: Dolore drop from Talaporas, Alfiere del Dolore.
Incisione del Dominio: Perdita drop from Apholeias, Alfiere del Lutto.
Incisione del Dominio: Pena drop from Ekfora, Alfiere della Pena.

With 3 other players, stand on the corners of the platform and cast Convocazione del Dolore to summon these rares.

/way 28,9, 11,6 Talaporas, Herald of Pain
/way 19,4, 41,4 Apholeias, Herald of Loss
/way 42,1, 21,2 Ekphoras, Herald of Grief

Exos, Alfiere del Dominio is located on Altar of Domination (upper level) - The Maw.
To enter on Altar of Domination you need open a Gate in Perdition Hold.
To open the Gate you need the achievement Pronto al peggio (click on this achieve for more info).
/way 33,0, 57,0 Gate 1
/way 34,9, 66,4 Gate 2

After open the gate, run to the rare location on Altar of Domination and use Richiamo del Dominio on the center of the room.
/way 23,0, 68,4 (cave entrance)
/way 46,0, 47,7 center of the room

After use Richiamo del Dominio will appear a portal on the center of the room.
Enter on this portal to reach Altar of Domination (upper level) and kill the rare.
/way 20,6, 69,5 Exos, Herald of Domination

Awful that you need this even to get the new 9.0.5 mount. And almost no one mentions this. They must be Venthyr, the only other way to 'skip' the need of this to get to the top.

Is there any way to get this item back? I might have destroyed it pre 9.1 after getting the achievments

I happened to have this item on an alt I don't play much, but the other ring pieces already on another toon. I was able to use this item to open the portal for my alt. Not sure if being in a party together mattered.

There is a way to gain the 3 items in solo? By now look no one is interested in this anymore, and due to lack of players, Its hard to find 3 players to do that.

So, players that join later are unable to find the Domination's Calling?

It appears that with (Kyrian) Covenant quest in the area, the item doesn't work. Just says you need to be in inner Altar of Domination. Finished the quests, then worked again. Hope it helps someone..

So about 2 months ago I had a BIG bank cleanout. I would never need the Domination Calling key again. So I deleted it. It was liberating. However today I realized I still needed it to kill Exos, Alfiere del Dominio one more time to get one of the five rings Anello con Sigillo di Nilganihmaht for the mount Anello di Controllo di Nilganihmaht

A solution was found. Someone in my Guild still had the Domination Calling key. They were happy to join me in a group and enter the Domination area and summon the portal. I was able to access the portal and this had also summoned Exos. Killed and the Ring was dropped

Another solution is put it out in General chat whilst the Necrolord Assault is on. Perhaps offer a 1000 gold tip for someone to join you and use their Domination key. I mean they are there already with one of the 3 bosses right in the Portal area. 30 seconds work for someone. Or even start a Group in Group finder
