How to summon Gieger:

be a member of the Necrolords Covenant
do Necrolords Campaign until reach Seat of the Primus
speak with Moa dell'Arcadia to unlock the Anima Conductor rank 1
speak with Yondare Malefik to grab the quest Torri del potere
use Anima Conductor and channel anima to House of Constructs
go to House of Constructs
interact and drag Filo Finale near the right foot of the rare
kill the rare

/way 52,3, 38,8 Arkadia Moa
/way 49,4, 36,5 Yondare Hex

/way 31,6, 35,4 Gieger

To unlock the Anima Conductor you need 1k Animum del Bacino and 1x Anima Redenta.

Only players of Necrolords covenant can summon the rare.
You need to activate Anima Conductor in the Seat of the Primus (main Necrolord base) to channel the House of Constricts

After you activate the channel you'll see a Final Thread mark on the map
If the rare is summoned anyone can kill it and get the loot, so just wait for someone to make it active or ask a Necrolord friend
To summon the rare you just need to drag Filo Finale near the right foot of the rare

To trigger Gieger event you have to be in the necrolords covenant.
In Seat of the Primus use Anima Conductor and channel anima to House of Constricts. There's a rare mark should appear on the map.
Make you way there. To summon Gieger you need to pull Filo Finale next to the rare's right leg.

This is "personal" rare mob, only you can summon it after linking House of Constricts and Seat of the Primus. Other players cant even see the Filo Finale. At least on beta.

I got it literally first try. I don't know if I was extremely lucky or if the drop rate is high.

Pretty cool mount tho, a different version of the Corrupted Dreadwing mount.

Is this mount actually a 25% drop chance? I have the conduit, but I have yet to see a drop.

FYI - I don't think you need to focus the tower there to be able to activate the rare spawn. I activated the House of the Chosen and still ran her because there was a chest on the map. I then saw that Gieger was on the map. Pulled the string and killed him.

It's possible you just need to be at a certain point with the Necrolords Covenant.

Rarity String for all of the following:

Armored Bonehoof Tauralus - This can be bought from the Necrolord Renown Vendor OR rarely looted from the indariver as I was halfway through the list of mounts and found their comments which helped me finish up the other half of the list. :)

There is still speculation, whether only Necrolords can obtain this, or if other covenants are elible to loot this aswell, but here is what I have gathered so far.

From killing Gieger for quite some time on 3 characters (1 kyrian, 1 necro, 1 venthyr) I saw:

- Mount looted only on characters that are Necrolords,
- ~~In most cases, the Necrolord that summoned Gieger, looted the mount (This is probably just coincidence, sample size too low to prove anything),~~
- The rarity addon DOES NOT count the attempts when killing Gieger on other covenants (attempts don't rise when killed on Kyrian and Venthry)
- Not being able to loot the Grateful offerings on 2 characters that are not Necrolords.

To not waste time, I have personally decided to just do this rare once per day on my necrolord character, while being the one to summon him. I have not yet received the mount. So far I am 13 attempts in on my Necro char.

EDIT: I have looted the mount today, as a necrolord, while being the one that summoned him, while having a perma link to the House of constructs via the Anima conductor feature. Screenshot for proof. It took more than 8 attempts, since rarity wasn't working at first, and I was farming him on venthyr and kyrian characters. I still doubt that summoning the add gives you a higher drop chance, as I have seen quite some mounts dropping for people that have not summoned him (since I summon him usually).

As far as i can tell, Tahonta's mount is Necrolord only, this one is not. I base my assumption from the in game Mount Page. Bonehoof Tauralus is in my unusable category and describes as necrolord covenant only. Predatory Plagueroc is in my usable category and its description does not mention any covenant.

Got this today on my level 60 Necrolord toon, with anima channeled to Gieger's location (House of Constructs). I can also use it on my lvl 60 Night Fae toon with no restrictions. Been trying to get it to drop on my Night Fae toon since launch and no luck. Second try on my Necrolord => got the mount. On the first try I did not have anima channeled to Gieger's location so maybe that's a factor too.

Dropped for my Necro char after 12 kills ! Not reinforced conductor, (actually... i killed him after the daily reset and activated the conductor on the day before). I killed him and the mobs together.

just got this today on my 60 Deathknight, Necro. Cov, i can't confirm, but i think it only drops for necro players, just like Taho.

I had 46 kills on my Kyrian Warlock, 34 kills on my Venthyr Priest. Today it dropped on my 6th Death Knight Necrolord kill. For me this is definitive proof that it's a Necrolord-only drop, although once collected you can mount up on characters of any covenant.

A GM confirmed for me today. That this mount can only be looted by a Necrolord character.

So there is no reason to farm this on anything else besides Necrolord characters. :)

Switched to Necro with the new 9.1.5 patch and opened the anima channel killed boss and got mount first try. wow

Decided to go for necrolord mounts and got this on the first attempt.
I am sorry to all of you who have many attempts on it. On the other hand I am at 630 kills for famu and no mount

Are you here because this mount refuses to drop for you so youre checking wowhead to see if something isnt right? hi. Im here to tell you no matter how bad youre feeling, at least you arent currently at 1222 attempts. and if you are, im so so sorry. This last year grinding this on multiple characters has been HELL. the amount of "oh its not guaranteed?" and "are you sure you are eligible?" or my personal favorite "did you check your bags?" has killed my soul. I will update if and when i ever get put out of my misery and this ugly mount decides to drop with how many attempts it takes.
