Around 44, 49 in Maldraxxas, kill Neonates and Galescreamers for a chance to drop the blight-touched egg. After 5 days the egg hatches into this mount.

Best farming spot we wound, was at 57 71 Maldraxxus. There is an Diseased Galescreamer thats spawns instantly after it dies, and can confirm it drops the egg. Got mine after ~ 10 minutes of farming.

Got the egg after 6 kills at 58.16, 70.73 , I think that was fairly lucky but we'll see what the egg drops.
I will report back in 5 days to tell you what I got because I don't think it's 100%.

I farmed the spot that everyone is recommending for a solid 2 hours and didn't get the egg, drop rate seems to be extremely low, I probably have between 200-300 kills

Got it after 2 kills today at 62.79. This seems to be a great farming spot, especially if you have skinning. Will report in 5 days.

To get the reins, you'll need to obtain a Uovo Toccato dal Morbo.

It can drop from various mobs, but the best farming spot for the item is just North of the Plague Watch flight master. You will see Diseased Galescreamers flying in the sky that drop the egg.

What I did was flew to the flight master at Plague watch and faced North. There are two rubble ramps: one that goes left and one that goes right. Stand at the top of the left ramp and wait for a galescreamer to pass right above you (there are two that pass over your head here, but one will be out of reach, just ignore that one). When you kill it, another one will almost immediately spawn above you. Now you just gotta keep killing the Galescreamers until the egg drops!

It took me about an hour and maybe ~200 kills to get mine. Be patient, it will be worth it! As far as I know the egg has a 100% chance to drop the mount.

Redini Masticate dell'Alalacera Immaturo is a 100% drop from the Uovo Toccato dal Morbo. The egg itself takes 5 real life days and is a low drop from the chimaeras listed below, in Maldraxxus. You don't have to be level 60 and don't have to be part of the Necrolords to receive the egg.

The best place people have found to farm this (after testing myself) is to kill the flying Strillavento Malato at exactly 58.18, 70.85. There's multiple flying around, but if you're alone I'd suggest pulling this single one as he respawns nearly instantly. If you're in a group, try getting range DPS, especially MM hunters (as they have extra range), because there are two others you can grab that are flying a bit further away around the mountain just east of the coordinates.

Farming this in a 3-4 man groups, I saw a first drop after 300 kills, second after 337 kills, and finally one for me after 571 kills.

Got the egg today, oddly enough I wasn't exactly partied up but someone got an egg and the next kill after I got an egg. Do note that it took me a total of about 6-7 hours with possibly of a rough estimate of 700-900 kills. Happy to have grinded for it though.

Seems like the fastest spot to farm this (57, 71) had been hotfixed today. The mobs in the area do not spawn instantly anymore, the spawn time is now several minutes. The best spot to farm the egg now seems to be around 43, 50 west from Theater of Pain. There is plenty of Neonate Bonetooths around and they have around 0,3% change to drop the egg. Bonetooths also respawn pretty fast.

Took me nearly 800 kills (had farmed up 584 Carne Filiforme) of the Neonates just west of the theatre of pain. There are a few spots you'll learn as you go where you can gather up 4-5 at a time and aoe down, which makes it not quite as daunting. Very little competition, it seems - although occasionally people doing the leveling quest would claim the ones I was fighting and run off with them.

It took me 1342 kills to get the egg drop. Luckily I farmed it before they hotfixed the respawn times on the spot near the slime pools.

The most fun thing about farming this mount is that there is a quest where people have to tame the mobs you have to kill after being low health. I once saw a guy waiting for me to kill a couple of mobs just to steal them for his quest. I've never spammed /rude as much as then.

First I farmed the Neonate Bonetooths for about 600 kills then I farmed the Satiated Sawtooth at about 42 x 48 in Maldraxxus because his respawn is pretty quick and Neonate Bonetooths spawn around there too. Satiated dropped the egg after about 10 kills.

Drop rate seems to be about 0.2%, meaning it will take about four to five hundred kills on average to get the egg. Recently swapped to necrolord and wanted a flying mount matching the covenant transmog, got it today after farming it for like 5 hours, gets stale after a while but you will eventually get it, good luck out there

I got the egg on the 153rd kill according to the addon Rarity. 5th April 2021.
I solo farmed the neonate bonetooths along the strip to the left of the Theatre of Pain. Coords are roughly 44,44 down to 44,55.
Really nice area as there's lots of neutral mobs so you don't run the risk of pulling too much by accident. Occasionally you'll see groups of 3 bonetooths together, they're small but fairly easy to spot them on the ground/in the air.
Good place to herb and skin, didn't face any competition killing the mobs I was after.

I played Shadowlands at launch for a few months and only recently returned to playing consistently again. I had some down time one day while waiting for Key groups to form and discovered this mount and how to get it. So i flew over to Maldraxxus with the intention for farming for a few hours in-between Keys. My very first pull i grabbed 2 Neonate Bonetooths and got the egg! RNG gods be praised!

After two evenings of farming I finaly got the egg as well ♥♥♥
I can recommend the best area for farming around 44.50 in Maldraxxus, killing Neonates which has quick respawn so you can run one circle around there without waiting. Had to kill around 370 mobs till the item droppped. For anyone who didn't drop it yet - don't give up guys!

Got it on a lvl 51 alt after 750 tries. I was foolish not to farm it all the way with an alt as the Neonate kills (~800 rested xp / kill) would have given me about 1-1,5 level. So I suggest you do it on an alt if you are about to farm it and get that xp along the way!

Not the best comments on this page, so here ya go: East of theater of pain is by far the best place to farm. There are groups of clusters of the small neonate bonetooth 17k hp - Kill those. I kill them in a circle, then realm-hop, new round, leave that and continue on my own shard.

Ranged will be faster most likely, bit clunky to farm it as a feral druid. Anyway after 45 mins of efficient farming I was lucky to get it.

I farmed Neonate Bonetooths for like 4 hours and +700 kills on Monday and it DID NOT drop, then Farmed it on Wednesday after the reset immediately and it dropped after 2 mins and 20 kills

I would recommend farming this on a character with Necrolord and abominable stitching, so you can multi-task and collect Carne Malleabile at the same time.

It took me 24 minutes and 30 seconds (used the built-in timer) to kill enough Neonate bonetooth, ravenous galescreamer, galescreamer elder, and galescreamer pup to get the egg. I was on a BM hunter and tried to pull packs as much as possible.

Because the hunter also has skinning, I obtained 318 desolate leather, 107 callous hide, 98 pallid bone, 12 heavy desolate leather, and 4 heavy callous hide.

In addition I got 3 BoE ilvl 131 weapons

Took me 2325 attemps. Failing is quitting. Although, I did check all related wowhead comments and articles many times because of my impatience.
During my farming I managed to gather up 563x Raw Seraphic Wing and almost 6k gold from grey items and looted gold

Got mine finally after 731 attempts as per Rarity. 350-731 done in one sitting with around an hour and a half break to walk the dog and have dinner. Done in the left side of TOP where the neonate bonetooths were. Gawd, so happy not to have to do this again. My head hurts. Toon is a 275 hunter making killing fast. Roughly around 2.5 hrs farming.
