As a Venthyr, every morning and every evening as I head out or come back to the Covenant hall, I made a point to check on the spawn point for this rare. Not always up, but worth the trouble of getting it.

This dropped for my toon while on Threads of Fate before selection of a covenant.

This pet can drop from Amalgama di Luce in Revendreth at coords 25.32, 48.58
When you get to the rare's location if he is up there will be 3 mirrors that you have to click on to get him to spawn only a few steps away.

It can also drop from Prole della Luce Randagia and Bruciatore Vincolaluce also in Revendreth.

I farmed Lightbound Scorcher at around 24.34 37.87. Got it on my 296th attempt.

I've been lightly farming this and the others this year. This dropped after 352 attempts. Dropped from Amalgama di Luce.
Normally I check every day while doing my 3 Ventyr mirrors. I would for kill the Prole della Luce Randagia first, then make my way to Amalgama di Luce.

Can anyone that looted this pet tell me what covenant they are in?
I want to be 100% sure it's not a Venthyr only drop before I spend hours farming this pet..

Okay I'm at 400 kills with the lightbounds...and still nothing. This is going to really suck if it's a Venthyr only drop.
