Uhhh, is this supposed to be consumed on use?
I used on a pet, it appeared briefly on the pet, then disappeared from both the pet and inventory.

the void tendril leashes from BFA 8.3 assaults were also consumed on use Guinzaglio per Mascotte Tentacolo del Vuoto ,
but eventually i found a toy version :D Guinzaglio per Mascotte Tentacolo del Vuoto

i wonder if same might be true for the heavy chain leash

You can use this on a battle pet as a cosmetic leash, but I couldn't use a flight point mount (said I was busy with another taxis service or something like that) with the leashed battle pet out. I had to dismiss it to fly again, and when I re-summoned the leash was gone.

This item is consumed on use, and - like all pet leashes - will disappear from your pet if you move too fast in one direction, or if you for some other reason stray slightly too far from your pet at any given time (for instance if you lag a bit, if your pet is a type that automatically runs off like Egbert, or similar).
