I used one of these today on a plot (granted I planted a seed earlier in the day), but it seemed help lower the amount of incubation time down to 19 hours instead of the usual 3 days. So each level of catalyst (common, rare, epic) will do something different according to the tool tip. Common lowers time, Rare increases materials left by spirits, and Epic increases the quality of the reward offered by the reborn spirits. However, the epic one I used today seems to have lowered the time of incubation as well. Will monitor when I plant a new seed to see if it lowers the time again. Possible bug. I don't have a common catalyst planted currently.

I would much appreciate if Blizzard could add the duration of each of these seeds. So other players don't do what I did, which was use the seed on a plot between to active wildseed pods that had 2 days left before harvest. When the wildseed root grain only lasts 12 hours...

I need to read up on what the rewards are for this garden. Seeds and stuff taking up bag space, so you plant them in the right order, is tough when you are a semi-hoarder!

This catalyst increases the quality of loot your can obtain from growing souls. There's different tiers of loot based on how many of these buffs you can chain together when planting a soul. The top tier requires 4 of these buffs and includes mounts. Tier 3 (3 buffs) includes pets, tier 2 (2 buffs) includes transmog weapons, tier 1 (1 buff) includes transmog weapons and nothing else as of the available info when this comment was written.

So the catalyst can go away before the seed is finished. Is there a way to tell what catalyst the seed was infused with?

Quick guide to harvesting stacks of Grano di Radice di Semebrado quickly:

Step 1: Locate the plot closest to the entrance of your Queen's Conservatory that has 2 Wildseeds, each with its own Anima Catalyst Plot, with a third in-between that connects to both Wildseeds.

Step 2: Infuse Foglie Temporali in the middle Anima Catalyst Plot, and then infuse Bocciolo Notturno Selvaggio in the other two plots.

Note: Catalysts will remain active for 12 hours.

Step 3: Infuse your two Wildseeds with Semi di Grano di Radice di Semebrado.

Note: Without a Foglie Temporali catalyst, you would have to wait 24 hours to harvest your Grano di Radice di Semebrado. With the catalyst, however, you only have to wait 1 hour to harvest.

Step 4: After 1 hour has passed, harvest your Grano di Radice di Semebrado. Thanks to the Bocciolo Notturno Selvaggio catalyst, you will get 2+ from each Wildseed.

Repeat steps 3 and 4 for the full 12 hour duration of your catalysts, or for however long you have available to play. With this method you can farm as many catalysts as you need quickly and in large quantities.

Ok planted one of these catalyst next to a wildseed before I put a spirit in the pod. You could see the energy flowing to the seed as intended. So I infused the seed with a spirit and the energy flow stopped and the seed now sparkles. Is this still being influenced by the catalyst?

Do they stack? The Wildseed shows 2 buffs if I plant 2.

despite indications to the contrary, these still only stack to 20 instead of the promised 200. so much for reclaiming bagspace

I tried using it but it says invalid target... Tried before planting wildseed and after all the same, I don't get it:D

talk about underwhelming: I plant a purple wildseet root and then enhance it with the same in the mound adjacent. Reapply the enhance when able. Result: when i could get the loot, it was another purple enhancement, so for the wait time and 10 g for seed cost, net is time lost and minus 10 g. More fun to buy scratch-offs.
