Note: A Tiny Winter Hat, is currently not available on live servers.

Update: The mention to Greatfather Pepe has been removed from the EU news post, and the US news post did not have the bird included at all. This likely means that Greatfather Pepe will not be available for this year's Winter Veil.

For those wondering this item is actually datamined for 8.3 which is in 2020 so unless blizz decides to hotfix this into live. were not getting it till 2020 winter veil. this also seems to be the first year that we dont get a special toy / tmog / pet reward with a feat of strength achievement from looting presents on the 25th of December to the end of Winter veil.

if you dont believe me. try and copy the ingame link for this item onto live and try to click the item also read the 8.3 ptr notes on new items.

Not sure if anyone else has mentioned this, but I was just trying to get it on all of my characters, but it requires a level 50 min to get the costume for Pepe. I hope they change that, or that it's an unintended bug that they'll fix.

Yeah Blizzard....WHY are you requiring people to be lvl 50 and above before being able to talk to Pepe? We've already gone to the trouble of getting our whistle, so how about giving the alts a break?

I am confused, when you *learn* this pepe outfit, or viking outfit for ex. I was under the impression it *saved* to Pepe kit and he has a chance to summon himself dressed as one of the kits you've unlocked. Since the whistle is a toy, does that not make the kit unlocks account wide? If so, I fail to see the reasoning behind making Winter Veil alt friendly. (In terms of Pepe only.) My trade chat was riddled with players saying the same thing yesterday, its not fair we have to be max level for rare rewards. (I thought all the rare rewards were toys/pets and an enchant. All account wide.)

Greatfather Pepe is found on the roof of the Smokywoods Pastures vendor's wagon. (A screenshot shows it.) This is true for both Ironforge and Orgrimmar.

Figured some people will appreciate someone just plainly saying where to find him instead of posting coordinates like they're trying to find Atlantis, or Flight 370.

After obtaining and using this, does it mean that whenever I summon Pepe in the future, he has a chance to be wearing this costume? Or does this only last as long as I have the buff?
