I received this from the Pyre of the Amalgamated event during a Black Empire Assault on Uldum. At the end of the short event, the rare mob Amalgamation of Flesh spawns. The pet is not a guaranteed drop.

Just to give all the information regarding this drop:

- The pet Guardingo Malvagio has a chance to drop from the rare enemy Amalgama di Carne
- Amalgama di Carne can only be spawned by the event La Pira dell'Amalgama Supremo during a Black Empire Assault on Uldum
- The event La Pira dell'Amalgama Supremo is located at 59.8, 72.4 in the Lost City of the Tol'vir area but it is NOT active every day
- To activate the event you must click on the Pyre shown here in this image: https://imgur.com/a/cFuip2j
- Once active, 5 waves of 5 adds will spawn which must be defeated, with the Amalgama di Carne spawning with the 5th wave
- The add waves and rare itself hit relatively hard so can be difficullt to solo with a low-geared character
- Unlike other events, you can click the Pyre multiple times, but you only have one chance per day of looting the pet
- The Pyre has a respawn time of 1 minute after the previous Amalgama di Carne has been killed so you can tell very quickly if the event is active that day

I've seen whole weeks where this doesn't spawn! Definitely tag with multiple toons when you see this event up, it might be a while before you see it again.

Looted on a character that didn't unlock the assault and didn't even have the Heart of Azeroth

It exists!

Finally, after years, I have got it.
After estimated 200 times of farming Amalgama di Carne.
Whenever I saw the event La Pira dell'Amalgama Supremo is up, I brought all my strong characters to farm.
