These are from the Ve'nari Rep (The Maw). You have to be Cordial - 0/21000 (2nd highest), and it costs 300 Stygia. This seems like it's meant for easy crafting close to heroic dungeon blues for alts.

For some f&^%d up reason there are no recipes for Inscription to use this specific item (168 ilvl caster weapons) yet you can craft item itself. Blizzard, seriously, what the hell it this?

Actually Koterulezz they can make a staff and an offhand that uses them.

As a blacksmith and engineer, you can't use the crafter's Mark II on any ceremonious weapons or on the gun of engineering.You can only use a Crafter's Mark II on a Rare blueprint (Blue one).

As an Enchanter, it doesn't work with Bacchetta del Crepuscolo Incantata, so it's kind of useless :(
Would be nice if they were tradable at least

The fact that some of these (Leatherworking & Inscription) cost like 10x more than most others (or like 100x the Tailoring one, lol) shows that Blizzard either had no clue how trade goods availability would work out, or didn't care at all.
Did they have different people working on different tradeskills without communicating? Is it intentional design that leather- and mailwearers just have to pay/farm at least 10x that of clothwearers for legendarys and alt equip?
Man, Shadowlands does soo much right, but this part is just effed up

So based on my server lets see the price differences between professions.

Leatherworking: 15g+1600g+72g= 1687g

Tailoring: 12.5g+45g= 57.5g

Blacksmithing: 300g+45g= 345g

Alchemy: 570g+45g= 615g

Jewelcrafting: 11.25g+8.25g+52.5g+9g+45g= 126g

Enchanting: 240g+45g= 285g

Engineering: 250g+1.25g+200g+45g= 496g

Inscription: 2475g+45g= 2520g

Seems to only be useable in crafting the level 60, 165 item level blues. Meaning the effect is a 3 item level bump to 168. Really do not see why this item exists.

FYI, If you switch professions after previously learning it, you have to buy it again. For instance, I switched from Enchanting to LW and have to buy the tome again even though I still have it learned in Alchemy. I know it's not that much stygia, and yes I can still make them through alchemy, but it's still a little silly. It seems like it should be at least unlocked on that character so that it can be retrained from any of the relevant profession trainers with gold if you switch. Oh well. Hopefully this saves someone a little confusion.

These are complete bull&*!@.... Infact the items ya farm soul ash for from the runecarver are only ilvl 190.... the various gear ya get from your various factions can be upgraded to ilvl 197..... what a !@#$ing waist of time.

It is possible to make these with a cheaper profession (such as tailoring) to use for another profession.
If you make a few hundred marks made from tailoring, they could be used for huge profits on armor or weapon professions.

This item, in addition to the other Crafter's Marks above Rank I, is not useable on weapons, so do not bother purchasing it if you only have enchanting or inscription. Other classes that can craft armor (as well as alchemists for the trinket), can use it.

You can also purchase this item on alts as long as one character on your account has "Cordial" rep. I had seen some other comments that this item was not unlocked account-wide when the sockets were made available to alts as long as one character had the required rep, but if that was true before, it's changed now. I had not gotten a character's rep high enough until now to test.
