Unlike other "walking on air" mounts whose running animation stays at the same speed on the ground and in the air the Reindeer has it's running animation sped up because of the flight speed boost. Which makes it look pretty silly to me.

It's such an easy task to allow this to be usable throughout the year with maybe a 6 hr or 24 hr CD. But nope.

Gives us a really nice looking "mount" for the holiday. What a crock of %^&*! get to use it for a WEEK! seriously?

Be advised, you will be instantly dismounted if you try to use this with any mount that has NPC's, like the Grand Expedition Yak.

Obviously there are technical reasons why a mount with NPC's cannot transform into a reindeer. That said, to get around this, you will have to right-click on the Wild Holly buff to cancel it before being able to use special mounts again. Thankfully the CD on the toy is only 1 minute, if you wish to re-apply the effect again.

I really wished this was a remastered (HD version) of the existing Fresh Holly mount, or at the very least slow its run animation down to a gallop because its pretty stupid the way it is right now.

well this is interesting. A bug perhaps, but I'm not complaining. Like many of you, I was really bummed that this was a Xmas only mount. BUT, I've got one toon that still has it active for some reason. Here it is 28 January and my hunter still has this active every time I mount up. (I know I know. Now it'll get nerfed). Blizz can't let us have any fun now can they.
