There is a toy you get Collezione Miniature di Azeroth: Meccagon that you can use to display the figures which you have collected. I haven't done the quest yet, but I got the quest for the toy in the first pack I got and it describes how it is used when you point at it.

This is the rarest of all of the Azeroth Minis (so far), as it is only a 1 in ~125 drop rate out of the "Azeroth Mini Pack: Mechagon" pack. The most efficient way to farm it is probably simply to have each of your alts open one Mechanized Chest on Mechagon per week, as the first chest per toon per week seems to yield a guaranteed drop of the Mini Pack.

Edit: I now have 20 characters opening this every week, yet to received this, we are probably above 300 attempts now
Edit 2: Running lvl 110 Characters that has just done the Zandalar intro gives you some more characters if you have some allied races laying around - Can do the intro and fly to mechagon and loot the chests.
Edit 3: Today i finally got it, 27 characters every week since the first week of mechagon release, Keep farming, it will drop... even..tually..

10 weeks, with 15 chars. Still nothing. Keep grinding (atleast each azeroth Mini can be sold 100 gold)

I have opened hundreds of the boxes across all my characters without luck. I wish the RNG had bad luck protection, but at least the 100g is a pretty decent consolation prize. Its really too bad they brought back achievement and cosmetic items with less than 5% drop rates.

This drop rate is absolutely pathetic. I am urging anyone trying to get this component to their Azeroth Mini please submit an in-game Suggestion Input to Blizzard recommending an increase to the drop rate. With 8.3 imminent and Shadowlands looming, the last thing we want to have to do is head to Mechagon opening chests on all of our alts every week. Lets get this drop rate increased.

After months of trying I've gotten 3 of them out of the 3 Characters I do mechanic dailies on in the last 2 days, either the drop rate has been increased or I'm incredible lucky.

I flew my boosted 120 alt to Mechagon via taking the boat to Stormsong Valley and then flew across the water to Mechagon. With this alt, I can see rare mobs, however I cannot see any chests. And when I participated in a rec rig even with him, I got no reward period. Is this intended?

So as you all know, you get Azeroth Mini Pack: Mechagon from a mechanized chest once a week. I just got it near RustFeather(RARE)..... So i thought to myself, maybe if I engage RustFeather and open the mini pack at thesame time, I might get King Mechagon.... LUL..... I can't believe I got it..... I am warrior; Fury with current spec loot..... Don't know if it helps... good luck..... Just relieved of finishing it..... GOOD LUCK guys!

Of course I get this the first day of the Shadowlands Pre-Patch, been trying every single week since Mechagon patch came out. Just glad I finally got this done, best of luck to all those still trying to get theirs.

Finally got the evasive little ^%&* today & apart from the vendor mount (it'll have to wait - saving what gold I have left until SL), my mechagon grind is over.

Now to continue chasing down Invincible... urgh, here I go again.

Just got it. This means that it still exists. It was in the first chest this week after weekly reset. And it was on the first looted character this week (though it seems not important).

Many years on finally got it thanks to shadowlands season 4 portals. Looted on one of my alts as first chest of the week (It had not done any intro quests yet so just flew around til found a chest)

Tip: Create an army of Rogue Mechagnomes. Exit the initial area and check the following crate spawn points (they are near Rustbolt) -->

I was lucky and dropped it at the third lv 10 mechagnome but I think it's a good way to keep the chars parked there, log them once a week and hope for luck!

it took me 3 years to get King Mechagon .. why because the chest has a weekly CD
