From experience, as I did normal wing 7/8 and I got 7 of those, then did heroic and killed two making it 27. After turning in the first one, I lost the 7 and started again at 0/200
may or may not be intended. Ticketed it.

Same droprate as Respiro di Bwonsamdi & Sanguicella.

LFR: 1x Ornamento Eterno per wing. 3x per full clear.
Normal: 1x Ornamento Eterno per boss. 8x per full clear.
Heroic: 10x Ornamento Eterno per boss. 80x per full clear.
Mythic: 20x Ornamento Eterno per boss. 160x per full clear.

On the positive side, unlike their earlier counterparts, these are not crafting reagents, and instead used to enhance the Abyssal Focus. Therefore you only need to collect 220 per toon. Additional Ornaments have no use at this time as they are only for their relevant one time quests.

You will not be able to loot any more of those once you have enough for the quest The Eternal Palace: We Can Make It Stronger...

If you want more, turn it in ASAP and get the follow-up quest. :)

Am I right in calculating that if you only do LFR this will take 8 weeks in total to complete? Well of the first part, then its another 66 weeks to get the remaining 200 - doesn't that seem more than a little bit insane?

Blizzard messed up professions again. They are not worth anything.
The items you make are BoE. You can't sell them so all that work for nothing. Just delete the quest to tell Blizzard to eat it and they might actually figure it out.
By the time you can craft items you will already have much better gear.
UNless the RNG gods hate you if you run Mythic + dungeons you will have almost a 425 item level the first week and by week 5 maybe 6 sitting on 440 item level without raiding at all. People with a good group of friends or in mythic plus communities will be even more geared by then.
Just don't do this quest. The only profession this is worth anything for is engineering.
That is simply because they can use their goggles for the mount materials from Motherload Dungeon and not have to equip lower level gear.

I agree. The people being arrogant saying you don't deserve it if you can't clear heoic...well think about this it's still gonna take a YEAR to get that stuff to make it, and by then there will already be another patch with a DIFFERENT stupid crafting regimen. So this is very much POINTLESS to bother with. You can get up to 425 gear a LOT easier just by doing world quest and getting manapearls. This is all about Blizz's business model to make many players pay instead of casual players. It's all about the bottom line. Everything they do is about making larger groups of people pay. They are a business and all gameplay they design has always been about "How to get a group of 5, 10, 40 people to pay by forcing them into raids and gating it all so they MUST be groups." They have never been about making it so the casual player who want to have fun and have decent gear to not DIE all the time can actually do that. It's not about what you "want" to do, it's about how much money they can make off the largest group of people. I really can't fault a business for wanting to make money, but the situation with gating crafting behind a year of "must-do" raiding just sucks. I dumped the quest after finding out I have to raid constantly to even think of getting the gear made, I only raid casually.

Can thise still be looted even tho I allready have killed the bosses this week, without having the quest at that moment. Iam considering to do a full run on heroic again this week, to get the Eternal Ornament i didnt get in the first run.

Kind of disappointed that I can't progress my blacksmithing in 8.3 without getting 220 ornaments from Eternal Palace. I collected the 220 shreds of insanity for no reason if this is the case.

You get 10 Eternal Ornaments per boss in Eternal Palace now.

Meaning you can 80 in a single run. If you do Mythic too, you can get 160 in 1 week.

Honestly don't even bother with lfr or normal.
lfr gives 1/3 bosses
normal one per boss
HC 10 per boss
Myth 20 per boss

ppl without pet can go as far as court the mechanic blocks you from proceeding solo beyond that so will take 2 weeks to get the 200 quest done withotu help 3-4 if you aint overgeared and can solo myth bosses
