The goggles have been removed from the PTR. Most likely due to blizz increasing the rep you get now from turning in the jellies/quests. Unknown if they will add the goggles back.

The item does exist on live servers and can be purchased from Barry in front of the Honeyback Hive cave.

It is NOT consumed on use and can be reused as often as you like. Buff lasts 1 hour with a 1 hour cooldown, so it's effectively permanent. The detection range on the minimap is quite good. Fully zoomed out, you can see nodes almost at the edge of the minimap in every direction.

After just 20 minutes of farming I had recouped the purchase cost of 20x Pappa Nutriente and made some extra. Looted a total of 102x Pappa Scadente and 6x Pappa Nutriente. Also 1x Pappa Reale but that was probably just extremely lucky.

using this item, with 3 people following me around, i got 206 Pappa Scadente, 18 Pappa Nutriente, and 2 Pappa Reale in one hour.

You need 20 Rich Jelly. EXACTLY that amount. It doesn't matter if you have 5,000 Royal Jelly's. You won't be able to buy it unless you have the exact amount.

Not sure why I was downvoted. Let me explain this better. You cannot convert all the jellies. You can only convert Rich Jelly into Thin Jelly. You cannot convert Royal Jelly to Thin Jelly to get Rich Jelly.

I've seen many people saying how valuable this item is, and I have to add my voice to theirs. It's value cannot bee overstated.

If you have any Magnete di Pappa, save them until you have this item.

Oh boy, are these things glorious... Once I got to revered, I did a 1 hour run without them to save up some jelly for them and do a comparison test once I had them.
Without them, I got 147 Thin Jelly (Rich and Royal converted to Thin for the sake of simplicity) in an hour. With them, I got 442 Thin Jelly in another hour. That's almost exactly 3x as much.

For some reason, I assumed they were single use but no, they're permanent, which makes them that much more awesome. Even if they were single use and resulted in no extra Jelly with the cost factored in, I'd consider them worth it just for the quality of life improvement, but this way it's a complete no-brainer. Definitely get them ASAP.

Wish I knew just how good they were before I even started farming, would have immediately bought all the Jelly required to go neutral -> revered from the AH, would have been a much more effective (and less tedious) use of my time, and it would be easy to recoup the cost.

These goggles are AMAZING and well worth the price.

My first hour using them I found:
163 Thin Jelly
14 Rich Jelly
2 Royal Jelly

I also discovered some interesting facts about honey deposits.They can be found on the sides of trees. They are also on the wooden planks that look like fences that have fallen down with lots of larger honey deposits that are not interactive; those are found around areas with hostile Bee concentrations. I never noticed deposits in those places.

Imo this item is a must have to even consider farming rep for the bee queen.

I recommend buying all the jelly from the AH you need until you are revered. If I dont miscalculate, its 1050 + 80 for the goggles. At the current 70 gold WoWhead price = 79100 gold. If the gold loss really hurts you, farm it back with your new googles. E.g something like 1 jelly for the AH, 1 jelly for your bee and so on. I would even say the googles tenfold your farm speed. No exaggeration. Its basically like herbalism without the icons on the map. Youll just miss too many. They are hard to see and are hidden behind trees or something similar too.

Something between 150 to 250 thin jelly per hour is doable, if you farm in the later hours.
