When doing island expeditions you wil receive Frammento della Mappa del Tesoro Perduto di Zem'lan. They are 100% drop chance. Mythic and PVP expeditions give you 5, Heroic gives you 3-4, Normal - 1. When you collect 15 you can combine them to create Mappa del Tesoro Perduto di Zem'lan which gives you a mission for this rank 2 essence :) The mission is 18 hours long, make sure you have the followers who reduce mission duration available if you want it quickly :)

15 x Frammento della Mappa del Tesoro Perduto di Zem'lan creates Mappa del Tesoro Perduto di Zem'lan. Use it to get Tesoro Perduto di Zem'lan. You need 400 Risorse di Guerra to start the mission, and it awards Vena del Mondo Solida. The mission requires countering Lookout Torgondo with Operativo and 2 x Abandoned Sea Dog with Truppa a Distanza.

Update: Tesoro Perduto di Zem'lan is now a deep sea mission and you need Gran Ammiraglio Jes-Tereth / Ammiraglio del Terrore Velamesta. You need 200 Risorse di Guerra to start the mission.
The mission requires countering Mare Profondo with Esperto Navale, Lookout Torgondo with Operativo and Abandoned Sea Dog with Truppa a Distanza and Stranded Gunner with Truppa in Sella.

The Worldvein Resonance summons Lifeblood Shards. This is the tooltip for a Lifeblood Shard:

Grants you and any other ally using Worldvein Resonance 170 primary stat while within 12 yds of the Lifeblood Shard. You can benefit from a maximum of 4 Lifeblood Shards at a time.

Rank 1: Complete the weekly quest Azerite per l'Alleanza or Azerite per l'Orda.
Rank 2: Combine Frammento della Mappa del Tesoro Perduto di Zem'lan from Island Expeditions, then complete the mission "Lost Treasure of the Pirate King".
Rank 3: Learn Rank 2, then complete Azerite per l'Alleanza or Azerite per l'Orda 3 times to collect 3 Worldvein Intelligence Reports, then complete the mission.
Rank 4: Mappa del Tesoro Misteriosa missions.

The tooltip for Rank 2 appears to be wrong it says 8 yards while the other 3 ranks say 12 yards.

Do not log out before learning the rank 2 item. It will disappear.

If you bought Rank3 from MOTHER then completed a mission rewarding this, simply use it at the Heart Forge. It won't overwrite higher ranks and can't be destroyed otherwise.
