Marrowroot is one of the six new herbs in Shadowlands. This herb can ONLY be gathered in Maldraxxus.

Based on an hour or so herbing in Maldraxxus, I found 54 Marrowroot, 48 Death's Blossom and 9 Nightshade. This was also while leveling herbalism, I ended up at ~70. I don't know if the number of Herbs received per node goes up with your skill. So, loosely half and half Marrowroot and

In Maldraxxus, I had the best luck finding herbs in the area to the west of the House of Rituals, directly south of the House of Rituals, inside the Theater of Pain and in a larger circle outside of the road that goes around the outside of the Theater of Pain.

Caveat: this was on Beta about a week and a half before the (real) release - Things might have changed since then.

Other Shadowlands Herbs:

Vedovia - Revendreth
Fior di Gloria - Bastion
Torcia della Veglia - Ardenweald
Bocciolo di Morte - all zones except the Maw

19,6 Umbral pigment 9,9 Luminous pigment 0,5 Tranquil pigment - Bulbosso
19,4 Umbral pigment 9,6 Luminous pigment 0,5 Tranquil pigment - Vedovia
9,9 Umbral pigment 19,4 Luminous pigment 0,5 Tranquil pigment - Fior di Gloria
9,7 Umbral pigment 20,5 Luminous pigment 0,4 Tranquil pigment - Torcia della Veglia

As we round these numbers up it's easy to see Bocciolo di Morte gives about equal amounts of Umbrals and Luminous.
Bulbosso and Vedovia give twice as many Umbrals as Luminous.
Fior di Gloria and Torcia della Veglia give twice the amount of Luminous as Umbrals.

I just farmed 60 of these in like 30 mins at the "swampy" area northeast of the Theatre of Pain. There are not that many mobs, and the ones that are there are easy to avoid.

whats the best place to farm this plant? i'm trying farm near House of Constructs.

The most convenient place for me is the South-East area of the Theater of Pain. In the area you can farm Bulbosso but also Ombranotte and Bocciolo di Morte. There are some Bloodtusk Alpha and other mobs but clearing the area makes farming less boring. You also get Costolette Tenebrose and Stinco Ombroso from mobs.
