I got it from killing the Reanimated Monstrosity mobs in Nazwatha, Nazmir. Killed between 3-5 of them before the first one dropped.

You can farm these good at Reanimated Monstrosity in Nazmir. Got my first after 16, second after 21, third after 28 and fourth after 34 kills. Also you can kill the Rare Crocodile Ancient Jawbreaker there too to get Spirit of the Bested too.

Tendine Regale Lungo is a crafting item required to make the leatherworking Tools of the Trade item, Martello delle Pelli Tonanti (4 are required). It can oddly drop for other professions as well, but it is safe to delete if you don't have leatherworking.

UPDATE: Many people are now claiming that, after patch 8.2, Tendine Regale Lungo drops less frequently from the Mostruosità Rianimata (and other elite dinosaurs in the area--I've gotten one from a Vilebone Ravager as well during 8.3) and instead many are farming it from the Atal'Dazar dungeon boss Rezan for a 100% drop rate on all difficulties. However, the Ancient Jawbreaker is claimed to still regularly drop Spirito dello Sconfitto (more below). Thanks for the info, burnabull, turnaround, Flyndaran, Meilinn, and the many others on this page!

Pre-8.2 FARMING STRAT (no longer as effective, but click on the spoiler if you want to see it)

Fyeina and other's strat of killing Mostruosità Rianimata for Tendine Regale Lungo works well, but to specify for quicker information, you can find ~5 Mostruosità Rianimata to farm surrounding and on the steps at the front of the Nazwatha temple in Nazmir (top Northeastern part of the zone).

TomTom users quick copy/paste to the central farming location: /way 69.73 33.51 (central monstrosity)

Mostruosità Rianimata have a fast respawn rate (~30 secs to 2 min)

Tendine Regale Lungo drop rates seem to currently average 20-30 kills for all 4 (I was unlucky and it took me about 50 kills)

~~You should be able to get all 4 in 30 minutes to an hour of farming (give or take with RNG~~; supposedly the drop rate has been greatly lowered on the reanimated)

Keep in mind that RNG is a factor and this could take you longer or shorter than other comments here. I had times between drops where it was fast (only a few kills) and other times where it took forever (~20 kills)

Spirito dello Sconfitto FARM (should still work, but it might take longer than 15 min now for the guaranteed drop)

As Fyeina pointed out, Ancient Jawbreaker is also in the area and drops Spirito dello Sconfitto (15 required to make Martello delle Pelli Tonanti), but it appears that you can currently only get one about every 10-15 minutes (as discussed in the comments on its page). I've tested this out, and it appears accurate. Multiple kills as soon as Ancient Jawbreaker spawns do not always yield a Spirito dello Sconfitto, but coming back to kill him after 10-15 minutes (if you already got all of your sinews, then go do other things in the zone like fish, work on achievements, or even go play an alt) seemed to always result in a drop. I was able to get 1 every 10-11 minutes near the end of my farm.

Definitely drops off of Reanimated Monstrosity in Nazwatha, Nazmir. I got 3 in less than 30 minutes. I have been trying to get the 4th for 2 days (about 3 hours time total so far) <sigh>

I just want to add my bit. I farmed reanimated monstrosities for about an hour for two days each and never got one to drop. After reading other input, I went into Atal'Dazar solo on normal, killed Rezan and got one, reset and did it 3 more times. 100% drop rate and a fraction if the time.

Apparently you can get these even if you don't have leatherworking. My character is an engineer.

Tried to farm Urok for these, have only had 1 drop on my first kill, even waiting 15 minutes, or 1 day, did not allow a 2nd to drop, will try again after a reset and post results here.

I managed to get 4 bop items faster than 4 long regal sinew items while farming reanimated monstrosity. 10/10 would farm again and waste my entire hour of my life

What a shocker, this item is a LEATHERWORKING mat only, but BoP, anyone can get it and sells for a whopping 5 COPPER.

To say it's useless to anyone besides a leatherworker is beyond the obvious.

it seems that these are also timegated (like spirit of the bested drops) -(see good wowhead info on those)

ie - only one drop possible per quarter of an hour period

I'm pretty sure I got my 1st one from Dunegorger Kraulok, the world boss in Vol'dun. Can anyone else confirm it droppped for them as well, as it is not being shown in the Dropped by tab?

Went to Nazmir, killed 12 of the Reanimated Monstrosities, no drop.

Went to Zuldazar, killed King K'tal (2x) as well as Ten'gor + Nol'ixwan (1x), no drop.

Went to Atal'Dazar (normal 5-man instance), soloed Rezan. Got one Long Regal Sinew at 22:56, another at 23:03, last one at 23:08.

It's safe to assume there's no time gating. If you can solo Rezan, that's the least tedious way to get all 4.

I am not so sure that these still drop from Mostruosità Rianimata anymore in patch 8.2. I just farmed them for an hour and got zero drops.

I can confirm that in 8.2 the reanimated monstrosities no longer drop the sinews. Instead, as others have mentioned, head to Atal'Dazar normal mode dungeon and kill Rezan four times. He will drop the sinew 100% each time (no time gating). Obviously you will need to reset the dungeon after each kill.

If you're like me and have totally forgotten to get the sinew for the drums, you're reading this now looking for a way to do it. As an ilvl 422 BM hunter, I was able to solo Rezan fairly quickly on normal. It took me about three tries to figure out what to do, but it can be done.

Some tips:

Stay out of the bone pits at all costs. This will cause you to waste badly needed DPS on adds.

You have to misdirect to your pet because even with growl on, he's immune for some reason. I had to cast one more MD about mid-fight because my agro got to yellow.

Keep your pet healed at all times. He may be a normal boss, but he still hits like a truck. I personally used a spirit pet because they have self heals in case you miss a heal due to Terrifying Visage.

Stay near the center so you can hide when he casts Terrifying Visage. Having your pet tank for you makes this much, much easier.

Obviously run away when he is casting Devour. Again, pet agro is important because you can get a HUGE lead when running away from him. I found that if I was inside the target circle, he could still reach me, so use that as a base to tell how far you are.

Pop all your CD's early, you should be able to last until his first Terrifying Visage and get full use of them, especially Aspect of the Wild.

I also had the old Repurposed Fel Focuser and Battle-scarred Augment Rune just for that little extra edge, so any pots you have will help greatly.

If you have a different way to do it and it works, by all means go for it, I'm just throwing out what worked for me :D

Just got one off Urok. It was not on the first drop, and disappointed, I almost flew away when I decided to wait for the quick spawn and try again.

Edit: Killed him two more times and got a second sinew on the fourth kill.

Urok was the best place for me. 5 kills one dropped, 4 more kills another. Before that I tried the Reanimated Monstrosity for 20 min and nothing dropped. Happy Hunting.

I just got one of these as a drop from a Ossavili Devastatore while the world quest "Agente della morte" in Nazmir was active. I only ever saw one spawn point at 39, 37 and after about 8 kills, I didn't get another Sinew.

I just received 2 of these items over 3 Urok kills. The kills were separated by the hour so this item might have the same 15-minute restriction as the spirit of the bested. The 15-minute restriction being at 00, 15, 30, 60-minute intervals of game time, so I got my 2 items within a few minutes, right before the hour and right after the hour. Going to test at 16 minutes to see if I get another, this item might have a longer respawn time.

I spent over an hour farming Urok trying to loot Tendine Regale Lungo and not a single one dropped. I then looked at more comments and saw Rezan has a 100% chance to drop this item in Normal, Heroic, and Mythic 0.

Long story short: Don't waste your time farming this from anything other than Rezan.

Oddly, one dropped for me in the Maw (shadowland) in the quest where you rescue Rezan essence. (Ardenweald covenant storyline).
My main problem is: It dropped on my engineer, so I have no idea what to do with it, except sell it for 5 coppers.

This dropped for me when doing chapter 7 in Necropolis from Resurfaced Tyrant, so it still drops. I'm also a Blacksmith.

Drops from Resurfaced Tyrant's in Nazmir during the Ardenwield quest chain. If you havent gotten around to making your tools of the trade by now you can farm these guys rather than going into the dungeon.
