These are found during Assaults. They don't add to your inventory, but they DO add 1% to your meter during the Amathet Advance assault, making them valuable time-savers.

Six of these are required for the daily quest Unearthed Artifacts, however this daily quest was buged in the start of 8.3. Blizzard later hotfixed this by stating:

"Titan Artifacts should now appear for the quest “Unearthed Artifacts” regardless of the completion status of the Assault bar-fill objective."

These Titan Artifacts can easily be collected in the Obelisk of The Stars area, Uldum (60, 30). It took me about five minutes to collect the six Titan Artifacts. They spawn in different forms on the ground.

I went for a character with archeology and all normally did this quest.
It is not necessary that the main thing is pumped so that you study it.
