Unidentified Mass is also a currency for the other Murloc seller. This looks to me like secret chain purchase much like the red monocle in Legion.

You can get these from opening the hidden chests with the scrying stones as well, which may save you some gold but they still have a 24hr timer on them.

However...
Do not stack any new ones you purchase with ones that are older, unless you are going to be able to use them before the shortest timer on them is up.
I had three due to run out in 29 minutes while trying to get the seahorse from Mrll and bought the rest that I needed, creating one full stack of 200 and a separate stack of 88.
At the 29 minute mark, the whole stack of 200 disappeared, not just the 3 old ones. The stack of 88 were fine.

GM said that this isn't supposed to happen but until there is a fix. Be careful where you put them!

I made a tool for calculating the price of any item. From what I've seen all prices are the same in the trading game but the Mrrl prices vary. In this tool you enter the number of each item required and get a list of everything you need to buy.
