Persists upon logout. (Though, there was a bug earlier when an alt with the buff got disconnected and lost the buff.)

Do we know if it could/can stack like monk Enlightenment? Gonna park an alt til the next one and find out!

Edit: The buff does not stack like monk's Enlightenment. Unsure of how it stacks with the Draught of Ten Lands, but about to try that out too!

You can safely port out of Zandalar and Kul Tiras, the buf does not dissapear.

This does not seem to work with quests. I get exactly what the quest rewards without 10% additional.

Edit: Today it seems to be working correctly. Not sure if it was because I logged out before it expired or if it was just a bug. FYI though nonetheless.

Check out all XP buffs / items if you need that little extra boost (as of 8.1.5):

Fiasca delle Dieci Terre - 10% - Also grants stats
Rubellite Natante - 5% - Requires item level 200
Sapore della Vittoria - 10% - Granted from doing faction assaults in Kul Tiras / Zuldazar
WHEE! - 10% - Granted through riding the carousel at Darkmoon Faire or purchasing and using Cilindro di Lunacupa
Pozione Eccessiva dell'Apprendimento Rapido - 20% - Requires WoD garrison, works up to level 99
Heirlooms - Up to 55%
Recruit-A-Friend - 50% - as of 7.3.5 the XP was nerfed and does not stack with heirlooms. Only XP buff known not to stack.
Illuminazione - 50% - Panda race only. Looks like since 8.1.5 you can only do this once a week, unclear if thats a bug
Elisir dell'Antica Conoscenza - 300% - BoA Mists of Pandaria Item, no longer drops
Elisir della Mente Rapida - 300% - WoD Item, no longer drops but can be purchased in AH

You receive this buff after completing a BFA Faction Assault while under level 120. To do this you must first unlock BFA world quests on your account. Then arrive in the zone while it is under assault. You then complete at least 4 out of the 5 active Assault world quest. You then complete the final quest, and then turn it in either at your faction hub city (if you were attacking) or in the zone (if you were defending).

When you receive this buff, you get a bonus 10% xp while in Kul Tiras and Zandalar for 60 minutes.

From my experience:

The buff will still be active if you die.
The buff will still be active if you log out and then log back in (it will pause the timer while logged out).
If you complete another Faction Assault and turn it in, any remaining time on the old buff will be lost, as the timer seems to have a cap of 60 min.

It's also reported in the comments of the Faction Assault Guide linked above that the quest will disappear when the timer ends, and so it shouldn't be possible to stockpile completed quests to have a multi-hour long buff.

This also increases the XP awarded by Incursion world quests. This is not a surprise but it should be considered as well, if one wants to level purely by doing world quests.
