This appeared during Battle-Bots, an invasion world quest in Vol'dun where you need to loot Krolusk Spinasalina to turn in Sale Salmastro to an engineer working on one of Aracni, a giant mechanical spider, for Alliance, or Feccior il Distruttore, a giant mechanical gorilla, for Horde. Turning in salt as part of the world quest fills up the energy bar on your faction's giant robot, and periodically - when the "repairing" buff falls off each of them - they move to the middle of the bridge between them and battle it out. (Despite the fact that Briny Salt is the quest item needed for the world quest, you can still collect it and turn it in when you don't have the quest.) Whichever has less energy loses (in every fight I've watched, two so far) and dies, leaving behind a small barrel object that contains this item. This item was in the barrel left by the Horde ape when it died. If the Alliance spider dies instead, Horde can instead loot Manciata di Occhi di Ragno di Vetro from the canister left behind. As far as I can tell, you can only loot the canister once until it resets, presumably the next time the WQ pops up.

I don't know where to get the other three items needed, and there's no obvious indicator that I've yet found.

I did this event/quest today with 6 alts (plus 1 on horde side) and I got 2xBatteria a Forma di Banana, 2xRinforzo per Pettorali a Prova di Mazzata, 2xEsoscheletro di Primate Corazzato and 1xManciata di Occhi di Ragno di Vetro with the horde alt. It seems to be random loot with even chance.
As a side note with some of the alliance chars I was able to attack the gorilla while with the other I was unable to do so. The horde char could not damage the spider, and since I only have one, I have less data from this side. All chars where with War Mode off.
