Received this from Keepers of the Grove Isle Island Expedition. At 119, I received 11g50s, 8,850 exp and 700 Azerite Power when turned in at Keeper Remulos in Moonglade.

Got it after like 15-20 runs trying EVERY island to kill all the druid mobs in the top + the hidden little area further down left. With the correct week up of course.

After more than 100 Verdant Wilds Islands with Keepers of the grove up, many of them multiboxed, I got this drop. I strongly believe that Life-Tender Olvarius is the rare that is related to the drop. He is one of the only rares exclusive to Verdant Wilds which has quotes, and the quotes he says are clearly related to the quest text you get from the item as well as the turn in. Additionally, he is the only Keeper type mob which has the ability to cast entangling roots.

I got my drop from an island with him on it, I killed him slowly to give him time to emote and cast roots a few times, and I also looted and hit him with strangling vines out of superstition. Good luck with your Tell me a Tale achievements, this was my last and an enormous grind!

The Quest Radice Strangolante dropped from the Driade Custode del Boschetto in the Terreni Verdeggianti. (It's possible it also drops from other druids in the group.) This is a female dryad I found at 64.3, 21.8. At the time she was apart from the other druids. This location is to the left of the top lake on the map. The lake at 51.5, 46.6 is surrounded by a small leafy glade, the kind of place you'd expect to see Moonglade style druids. But there were no druids in the glade. The druids were across a clearing, next to the ruins of a gray stone wall or building. I think I also saw the druids in another nearby location.

The druid nameplates were red enemy plates, so it wasn't possible to interact with them. You'll need to fight and kill them.

If there are no druids in the area across from the lake, kill whatever mobs are there. Check back, the druids may spawn later. In my successful run there were oxen. Disappointing. I returned and there were druids.

I knew the Keepers of the Grove were up this week when I saw the druids in dryad form. The Wowhead News section lists the featured visitors (mobs) for each of the 3 islands that are up during the week. Watch for Keepers of the Grove visitors to Terreni Verdeggianti.

I did the Terreni Verdeggianti islands 3 times today (Mythic and PVP) and dispatched druids near the upper lake each time. When the Radice Strangolante quest dropped it was unmistakable - the quest name appeared in large letters in the Objectives space on the screen. The quest icon will be in your inventory. Click it to accept and turn in the quest to Custode Remulos in Moonglade. A giant yellow question mark showing his location is visible on the Kalimdor map. Use the portal for the Darkshore patrol when it’s up in your BfA capital to get as close as possible to Moonglade (if you’re not druid).

Been struggeling to get that root! Have been killing keepers, including Life-Tender Olvarius and the sisters many times. Everytime I got on Verdent Wilds I just had one goal in mind: rush to find the druids and kill as many as I can.
Well, today I queued for the Islands as usual and got into Verdent Wilds. I Got into a Verdent Wilds In progress. My team was close to finish it off, and I felt it was a kind of a waste of the Verdent Island, since I would not be able to find and kill the relevant druids for the quest item. And thats exactly what happend. I only managed to kill a crab and the game was over. To my Big surprise the root dropped! I had done nothing. So, you obviously dont have to kill nor tag the drop related mob for the Quest item to drop, as Long as your teammates have done it🤩
